If 4-4-2/4-2-4 is the direction we are going, both the CMs need to be at the top of their game defensively, that formation never works otherwise, Scholes in Uniteds 2 man midfield the only exception in the modern day.

I know they don't play the same position, I was referring to their influence in a team. So even if you wake me up in the middle of the night and ask me, I will still take Hazard or Willian over Pogba. I won't rate Pogba as a 100m player until he comes to the EPL and prove he is the best.

If Pogba is worth 100m then Hazard will go for 150m.

I'll admit right off the bat that I've never watched many Juventus games. So I know my opinion on Pogba isn't worth much, but from what I've seen he's comparable to Stevie Hollywood in many ways. Going for the 40yard pass, the shot from distance and in his case the occasional (often unless) skill move.

I'm not saying that's all he is, of course I've seen him do wonderful things. But I don't know if he'd instantly without doubt become the best midfielder in the league.

Even with Kante next to him i can't really see Fabregas working in a two man midfield. Lets hope Conte has something up his sleeve.
