That said, if he does go to Man Utd, there are two questions which must follow: 1) Does this therefore mean that José doesn't rate Schneiderlin? 2) Can we therefore acquire Schneiderlin at a cut-price rate? Schneiderlin would play next to Kante. He was at his best at Soton when he had Wanyama doing all the grunt work. My tip is Kante will go to United.

He's 25, it's not like the window on his career is closing rapidly. He can 'sacrifice' next season for a new start for a team that is highly likely to be back competing at the highest level soon. Or he could sit it out at Leciester for another year, his form dips, and suddenly these teams sniffing about, go cool on him.

July 4, 201610 yr This Kante rumour seems to be gathering some momentum, at least in the English media. I'm cautiously optimistic, because I think with Kante, Cesc could play the Pirlo role if Conte wants to go for a 3-5-2 formation, or if we play two up top Cesc could be one of our central midfielders in a 4-4-2. July 4, 201610 yr Wouldn't get in their side yes he would! he is progressing very well, he has had a good season in La Liga, also done well last season at Monaco, he should definitely get a PL loan next season as he has shown he has the ability to play in a top league, and Leicester need depth in their squad as they will be in the CL next season
