Btw, do you even see what your problem is ?  The way I see it, some people just airing their view about this signing, yeah it's negative but not without basis.. Pretty clear you and some don't agree and tried to argue your way into it but when people don't buy it and counter that then it's where your problem is.. you seem not able to deal with it with grace..

 

I see that you failed in convincing those luiz doubters, your attempt is fair enough but what came afterward is not.. is it so difficult for you to accept other's people view on a player that is different from yours? I don't think you have the right to stop others from having a negative review on certain player based on their sound understanding.. it's not like you yourself never have a negative review on some chelsea players, haven't you?

This whole luiz debate getting longer, tiring, boring is only because somebody doesn't get his way in changing other's view..

There did seem to be a tendency to romanticise Luiz in is time away from Chelsea - let's face it, we hardly missed him.

IMHO we could have fared better with him in the squad than out, we certainly did not need him playing for PSG against us in the CL, did us no favors at all.

I remember Jose saying something similar and even ridiculing FSW for playing Luiz in the mid only to do the same for the second half of the season. Hopefully Conte follows suit.

I don't see how Luiz could be worse than Matic if he gets a few games in the midfield. I rather him doing silly thing on the half way line, than doing the same thing around our penalty box. I'm surprised there are so many negative comments about Luiz, I even read someone want to play Papy instead of Luiz. I mean come on

Playing Luiz in midfield is a daft idea and it wont happen. We are severly lacking someone with his ability press high up the pitch, turn and run with attackers and either pass or carry the ball out from defense like Conte wants. Thats the reasin we bought him and moving him to midfield just so he can wont make mistakes is just stupid and would have made the purchase of him make zero sense. If you think the club was wrong for purchasikg him I have no idea why you wont at least let him olay a position that improves our team over one that doesnt.

The answer is in your post^, if you don't mind me saying. It's because we don't believe him playing CB does improve the team. 

Not trying to be critical of him as I said I won't engage in that unless it's warranted, but that's just honestly how we feel. At least, I do, anyway. 

Very interested to see if he starts this weekend or if Cahill keeps that spot. Same with ivanovic. This week#s team selection could be an important indication of the newest first-choice 11 in Conte's mind
