Oof, unlucky Batshuayi.

Great passes from Chalobah and Oscar though - from the halfway line to a shot in two passes again - looks like we can catch them off guard by attacking that directly.

Poor half. Bring on the big boys now for second.

A pretty poor first half from us. Defence look's all over the place, none of them are having a good game and going forward, Oscar and Willian have been really poor. Kante has been the only player that is doing what is needed so far. Poor from us, we need a big improvement. I think we should get Hazard on.

curious half for us. jt and luiz are at sixes and sevens, oscar looks as rusty as jt and batshuayi  especially has had a bit of a shocker- nothing has stuck at all and he's missed a sitter.

despite all that we've moved the ball quite well at times and played some decent stuff.

can't see costa and possibly hazard staying on the bench all  game.

Hazard for Oscar in the second half and we're coming back for this game. We just need him on the pitch to add more energy, more dribbling, more danger in the counter attacks. Oscar and Willian were really poor, but Willian offers more speed so I'd keep him.

Come on boys, we still can win this game, those 45 minutes will mean a lot to us!

Aina and chalobah no where near worst that half, hopefully they stay on

Exactly. Chalobah was pretty good I thought. Chelsea fans can't have it both ways, want youth to get a chance and then expect them to be world beaters straight away... This is how you mold and nurture players, by giving them chances.

I hope Hazard comes on for Willian. If we don't score in another 15 mins from half time, bring on Costa and Moses too.

The players that have come in look really rusty, except for chalobah who has been good.

Front 3 have been terrible, batshuayi needs to get hold of the ball stop laying everything off 1st time.

Willian has goven the ball away constantly and oscar gets knock off the ball by a strong wind.

Still fancy us to get back into though.

Bit of a mess of a first half really, Chalobah was pretty good but him and Kante are too similar, both all action box to box and keep getting in each others way instead of 1 holding leaving our defence exposed..

Aina looks lost out on the left, Dave on the right hasn't been much better hasn't been bombing forward supporting the midfield at all. And Bats has to hold the ball up better although the service he is getting from Willian and Oscar is disgraceful.

Aina had few errors, but he fixed it all by covering his areas, getting first to the ball and assist Cahill. Our defence doesn't look good, Cahill has to stop shoot every ball forward, we must to move the ball quickly and make it as a proper attack.

All I want to see is Hazard coming and replacing Oscar and we will lead in this game, if Batshuayi won't improve himself in the second half, then Costa will come as well. We need to win this game, this cup is important for us and for our morale!
