Chelsea Vs Tottenham (PL) Sat 26/11 2016 KO 17:30 GMT

Featured Replies

Let's make it 7 wins and clean sheets on the bounce.

Expecting a fiery game with a bit of bad blood simmering over from when we crushed their title hopes and dreams last season.

Same starting XI once again for this one.

4-0 Chelsea. 1 for Diegoal and a hatrick for the black Messi, Moses.

It is Saturday 26/11 not Sunday! You made me double-check the ticket as I had plans to hit the Pub pre- and post-match with a mate on Saturday.

I'm a bit apprehensive about how we will play out of defence in this one- spurs are probably the best pressing side in the country and whilst the way our players are spread out is designed to help us counter that, I do fear that we could be testing the absolute limits of people like cahill etc.

in our favour is that they have a potentially tough european game in mid week and we look extremely fit under conte. if we're in the game late on then I expect we should end it stronger from a physical stand point.

Hoping for a tough, physical match between Monaco and Tottenham tomorrow. Can be quite the advantage for us that they'll have a midweek match in their legs against us.

Alan Shearer quoted on MOTD Saturday, after the highlights of their game v The Pikeys, that they've looked 'leggy' for some time. Tomorrows game for them, can only work in our favour.

after 26 years, spudz will be looking forward to this match - I am sure they all feel this is their year to break the Stamford Bridge Curse - spudz will probably overlook their Europa Liga match in anticipation for the Match vs The Chels @ Stamford Bridge + it's a Derby match - In Manchester they have one, in London they have like 4 or 5 a season & all played w/ equal intensity - hell look at the match vs wet spam this past weekend

Nope, their chance was last season. They f**ked it up.

true but they wanted to brawl instead of play footie so that is on them

Think we'll do them in this one, we're good at ending streaks. They rely far too much on Kane for goals and whilst he's a top player, Luiz is playing like prime Beckenbauer

funny you are praising a Brazilian for playing like a German, especially after that 7-1 squashing from the last World Cup

Really look forward to this game, anything other than a win will be disappointing given the circumstances. They couldn't beat us last year when the title was on the line and we were in dog sh1t, can't see them do that this weekend. Change won't be necessary, I expect us to be a lot better with a week of training.

We will be sharper from a weeks training with no interruptions.

Spurs are a good side injuries or not but the game against Monaco is important to them.

I think the one game a week will help us in the last quarter of the season, less so right now.

As for the team, Willian, Ivan, Oscar. will all be pushing for a place. I might still pick Willian in front of pedro.

Man, I would like to go and win this...and the crystal ball says we will. Here are the predictions:

Chelsea (4-1-4-1): Begovi?; Moses, Azpilicueta, Terry (c), Alonso; Mati?; Batshuayi, Chalobah, Loftus-Cheek, Pedro; Oscar

Subs: Courtois, Ivanovi?, Luiz, Mikel, Fábregas, Hazard, Costa

Prediction: Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur (Costa)

To sum up, Conte changes the formation to 4-1-4-1 and drops several key players again, risking the wrath of Chelsea fans who have become so accustomed to seeing great, winning football. Despite having Batshuayi in the starting 11 and Costa on the bench, the manager goes with Oscar for the second crystal ball week in a row as a false nine. Chalobah and Loftus-Cheek both start in midfield, with a very good and expensive bench. Despite all these questionable decisions, 26 becomes 27 as Tottenham Hotspur will have to wait at least another year to win at Stamford Bridge. Costa comes off the bench to get the points. Come on, Chelsea!

I imagine Vertonghen will be shifted out to LB much like he is for the national team with Wimmer and Dier in the middle. Beyond average defense if that is the case. Hopefully bang a few past them.

That 5-3 still hurts. Even though we got some revenge by finishing their title challenge, a proper drubbing is what I want. Also end their unbeaten streak. Come on Chelsea.

Dont see the need to change things, specially since everything is working so well.

We got our revenge a few months later by beating them in the league cup final.

I wanna beat them more than any other team at the moment, too cocky from their players and manager.. unbeaten? it would be sweet for us to be the 1st to inflict defeat to them.. Considering everything, I'd be hugely disappointed if we don't get a win, should be a hammering really..
