As the title says, if he was to stay here and be our coach for the next 5 years, what trophies would you like to see us win for his reign to have been a major success?

Not to be greedy, but for me it would be amazing to win the following: 

- 3 Premier League titles

- 1 or 2 Champions League wins

- 3 FA Cups

- 5 PL

- 4 CL

- 5 FA cups 

- 1 World Cup 

All of them! 

Realistically, if he lasts 5 years it will have to be the most successful 5 years in the club's history as Roman doesn't give managers that long, even if they're successful. The most league titles we've ever had in a 5 year spell is 2. So, that said...

That is literally it. Even our board recognize the CL as being a crapshoot at the best of times, and it will be a fair while before we're competitive in Europe again. Three titles in five years, two of them being back-to-back, and a cup run for old time's sake. Job done.

The only permanent managers who have really been successful are Jose and Carlo, those respective spells ended because things either went stale or fell of a cliff.

Roman isn't really as bad as the media have brainwashed the nation into believing.

Regardless, the thought of him giving a manager 5 years is fanciful at best given the data. Hence the fanciful 3 in 5 prediction.

Anything short of 6 Premier League titles in 5 seasons would be an utter disgrace.

If Conte manages to keep his job for 5 years, he'd be winning a lot if NOT everything.

If we lose one of the next 2 games ( god forbid), everyone will be posting in the ' can Conte takes us to the top 4' thread

2 Best Film Oscars

5 numbers and 2 bonus balls every week for a year on the Euro millions.

It certainly is. but f**k it, it feels good to be  chelsea fan right now. after last year it's nice to think what could be during a great run like this, and possibly a coach who could very well stay long term. 

Can't see any manager staying that long unfortunately.

A bad run of form and the manager is under serious pressure as we all know and we are almost certainly going to go through a spell like that at one time or another under Conte.

2 league titles and a few cups would be a good return for a 5 year stint given the spending power of United and City.

CL is fantasy stuff at the minute.

Seriously though I'm greatful for any trophies we win. I honestly would be happy this season with Top 4 and the FA Cup. 

At least two Champions League. His last was on 1996.

And it was against Ajax. I miss the old Ajax.

Sorry a little pessimistic as times but Roman does not do failure. Look at Carlo!

Carlo was sacked because in the second season the football was crap and the tactics were even worse, there is so much rewritting of history when it comes to Carlo. If we finish second with a lot of the season we produce football like we have of late, do you seriuosly think he will be sacked? If you do then you have brought the media narrative hook, line and sinker.

Funny you mention the CL, because one man has delivered that, and still would have been gone if Roman could have got Pep or Jose.

5x Top 4 trophies won't be enough

Champs League, FA Cup, league, league cup. (im sure the name will be changed in 5 years time) I'd be happy with 1 of each over five seasons as long as we're qualifying for CL every season. 

 

With how competitive the prem is (never mind Europe) I'd say after five years the following would be remarkable;

 

- 3 League trophies

- 2 FA Cups

- A league cup

- Another Champs league (but so incredibly difficult)
