What we offered was superb counter attacking football. In the process we passed the biggest test of our winning run. Courtios was pretty good. The defence were by and large good, but some of the decision making with passing was terrifyingly poor. Kante did a mountain of work, as usual. Cesc did the best he could defensively, and the pass for Costa was gorgeous. Moses and Alonso had less to do in attack (as to be expected when we're on the back food), but were solid. Alonso's ball to Hazard was lovely too. Hazard did what Hazard does in a game where we aren't dominant. He defends more, and tries to make something happen when he gets the ball. Pedro was ok. Willian frustrated me when he came on, bad end products, and throwing his arms up in the air a bit too often for my liking (looking very frustrated). But his goal was superbly taken, so all is forgiven. Costa worked hard as always, and now he's leading goal scoring charts again, and Aguero might miss a few games. Couldn't be happier with the result...the balance of play, much less pleasant. But as has been the case in this run of wins, the character of the team is so much better (amazing what some wins do for confidence). City of course, ended the game by being monumental twats. Aguero has a nasty side, even if no one wants to acknowledge it. Remember his stamp on Luiz's ass? Top of the table. KTBFFH! Agreed mostly on that but costa didn't work hard as usual because quite clearly there were times he's just walking around but we know why because he's maybe 'tired'.. I think we need to take a good care of his condition, he's showing sign of needed to be rested.. When fully fit, he's very important for the team, his overall game have more positive impact now rather just than his goals.. I think performance wise, it's obviously not 1 of our better games because the opposition could have cleared of few goals ahead before our goal (our '2nd' goal if you know what I mean) cahill almost gave me a de javu... Aguero tackled look nasty, damn him.. fernandinho also got a red card, well, SERVED HIM RIGHT!! I think under that situation especially when victory was sealed, I would take a red card and give him a stone cold stunner..
December 3, 20169 yr Pep to his credit was just quite classy in his post match interview. Congratulated us on the win and didn't blame the ref, can't say fairer than that.
December 3, 20169 yr Great win. Feared the worst when we conceded and when they had all those chances, but we rode our luck and got the points. City showing their true scummy colours in the end. People go on about Costa, but Augero is much worse, he's just a thug who tries to injure people, it's not the first time he's done that to Luiz either.
December 3, 20169 yr Simply Superb - loved every minute of it. Great counter attacking from us and to see them lose their heads like that was a massive bonus. All I need now is for Bournemouth to do us a favour for a perfect weekend.
December 3, 20169 yr I dont get the Pep hate. The game was great until Sergio and Fernandinho decided that they want to play tackle football and I am not going to blame Pep for that. While I agree with the fact that Pep is overrated as well, one cannot argue with the fact that his system for City is more fun to watch than Chilean Wenger's or Mancini's. Having said that - I want them to play the same beautiful football but we win the League.

December 3, 20169 yr That's the second time that little horrible Argie sh*t has tried to do Luiz, remember Wembley. Dirty bar steward!
December 3, 20169 yr Aguero is a f**king c**t. Hope Luiz gives him a proper elbow when we meet them at the bridge
December 3, 20169 yr That was game of the season for sure. That reminded me of those United v Arsenal games in the late 90s. Good football and passion!
December 3, 20169 yr That Bravo guy might be good at passing the ball to his defenders but he's not a great keeper is he?

Yeah but that's just trying not to be drawn on commenting on the decision too much. Sheaves is an awful interviewer, too much focus on negatives from matches. Tries to get managers to criticise officials all the time despite knowing they can't... As I type this he's just tried to get Conte to criticise our players for their reaction to Ageruo's tackle.
December 3, 20169 yr As Manchester City falls silently off the edge of the known world one can only hope that the welsh can organise a restructuring of north London.

Thought he was shocking for Willians goal, I think Diego scoring at his near post and having a couple of other shots at it might have forced him to hesitate diving to the far one for Willians' shot, which made him look a total mug.

Geoff Shreeve is a little troll....I'll always remember the fact he couldn't wait to tell Ivan he'd miss the CL final in 2012, after the Barca semi. He took pleasure from it.
