ah the annual arse spanking at the bridge, 3-0 costa brace plus a cheeky own goal by alexis for his future club

 

I would be happy with one change in this game, Matic out, Fabregas in.

that is what went wrong @ the emirates - if I recall Cesc did start vs le arse - keep the line-up the same - only change if Side Show Bob can't go

Pedro for Willian as well

Ramsey went off against watford with a calf injury. Probably makes him a doubt for this game. 

We all know what a huge opportunity this match is,  however it does not finish anything. We can make it very, very difficult for arsenal to remain in the title race if we win, draw we are still in a strong position and we even are so if we lose. 

Still though what an opportunity we have been presented with here. Hope the boys are up for it and the early kick off. 

I want to see Cesc and Ped start, the latter probably will but I expect to see Cesc to be on the bench.

I'd start Fabregas and Pedro for this one, Willian was very poor against Liverpool and Mati? is suited more for defending. Again i am not confident as i wasn't against Liverpool but three points will do.

Our performance against Liverpool has to worry us a little bit. Arsenal can just do the same, play with high pressure and they have some players that can score from this tactic. I expect us to play an attacking game, we must win this game to run away on the table. I won't mind seeing some players getting rest, Arsenal can simply put pressure on Matic and we will lose the ball, we need someone who can hold the ball and move it quickly and direct to our player.

Need to win this one for me.

Not been too great against the teams closest to us so really need to get that off our back and Arsenal at home is one of if not the most important games of the season.

I'll be hugely disappointed if we start like we did yesterday, we cant afford to just let teams press us and have the ball...especially them. It's no surprise we looked miles better when Cesc came on and we actually attacked Liverpool. Start like that and we will win, revert to yesterday and spuds and we will struggle.

Matic needs dropped badly for this one.

 

It has been over 4 years (3 games in total) since they even managed to score a goal at our ground. I think we will win this quite comfortably, 2-0.

We should really be beating Arsenal at home, especially considering the way they played against Watford. 

I imagine they will be ripe for picking off on the counter because they play a very open game, but I must reluctantly concede that Matic or even Chalobah may need to start to provide additional defensive solidity because Arsenal are always a threat going forward. Arsenal don't press as effectively as Liverpool or Tottenham so we can probably take the risk. 

Someone like Willian should be perfect against Arsenal but I'll understand if Conte doesn't start him because he disappointed against Liverpool. 

I know most of you hate T'ham the most but for me Arsenal is the team I hate most. 

Let's hope Chelsea will play a much better game than against Pool so we can get the win. I hope Pedro starts over Willian and Cesc is either starting or atleast taken on earlier than on the 80th minute. Ale for Alonso?

Things have changed since then though. We played a 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 with an almost completely different defence. Defensively, we are in a better position than we was back then. Fabregas should be able to slot into that midfield nicely.

We always seem to look much better whenever Cesc comes on. Spuds, Liverpool and so on.
