Dont know what it is but I just can't have that BT sport sh*te at all, hate all that cringeworthy promo nonsense with Jake Humphreys narration and to top it all off Gerrard in the studio

These clowns have been running their mouths off non-stop about how much better they are than us and how they'd be right in the title race if it wasn't for corruption, time to show them who the best team really is

How is it that BT have Slippy G and Rio for this match? Couldn't they contact Frank or Ballack?

ex utd, liverpool or arsenal players. they are all you ever see on t.v.

Kompany starting is not good news for Diego.

It's good news, imo. Kompany will be rusty as anything. Chance for Diego to make amends.

So what is that from Guardiola?

----------------------------------Caballero

---------------Stones---------Kompany----------Clichy

Navas------------Fernandinho-------------Delph-------------Sané

-------------------De Bruyne-------------------Silva

Or:

---------------------------------Caballero

Navas-------------Kompany------------Stones--------------Clichy

--------------------Fernandinho----------Delph

------De Bruyne--------------Silva-----------------Sané

---------------------------------Aguero

Putting Navas up against Hazard as a straight full-back seems pretty suicidal. Of course it could be Delph sitting with Fernandinho and Silva slightly ahead in order to provide the full-backs with more cover.

Pretty good article from Michael Cox today, arguing that managers who are new to the Premier League often bring unforeseen innovations to it:

http://www.espnfc.com/english-premier-league/23/blog/post/3095925/pep-guardiola-struggles-at-man-city-serve-to-enhance-success-of-antonio-conte-at-chelsea

He then goes on to say that as Guardiola's preferred/celebrated style was already so widely known before he came, that he is forced to come up with even more novel ideas in order to a steal a march on opponents. I think that tonight's unpredictable starting XI suggests that Cox's interpretation may be correct...

Really worried about this. Kompany back actually makes me feel alright as I don't know how sharp he will be, but that is counteracted by Zouma coming in to the team. He hasn't exactly been well tested during his lay off but it will add some muscle into the defence and we know that he definitely used to have some real pace.

Dave at RWB makes me feel okay, too. Come on Chelsea, destroy them PLEASE. ::ChELSeAFaN::

I have a terrible feeling Zouma's going to concede a penalty or do something stupid.

That's my worry too! I hope not and he proves us all wrong. If we lose here and Spurs win, and Spurs then win on the early kick off on Saturday, then it'll be only 1 point between us, argh! From 10!

Delph has played like 15 minutes of league football since december and the last game he played more then 70 minutes in was in january.

Surely we can exploit his rustyness? Along with Kompany?

Come on you blues!

We are definitely going to concede but we can't lose face and need to keep going strong otherwise we'll be on the back foot the whole game. The only way to beat City is to not play them at their own game.

Personally think its absolutely the right lineup with Moses out.

Pleased Cesc and Zouma get the nod, and I fully expect them to have good games.

Our front trio are all due a goal, looking forward to seeing at least one of them on the score sheet. This will be a good night.

I think it may be less open than many people (including myself before seeing the lineup) predicted. Both managers seem to have tightened up somewhat; I'm guessing both are concerned about their sides' recent defensive records.

From their last lineup Man City have dropped a winger for a defensive midfielder and swapped a centre back for a slightly less 'artistic' centre back, whereas from our typical XI we have swapped a winger for a centre back.

Edit: Forgot Fabregas

Think we're going to be rekt

Me too. I think we are going to be slaughtered with the pressing game on a small back line. I really do think we might get hammered tonight, 0-3 or even 0-4 heaven forbid.
