Poor all round. Conte included.

Need to pick up some form quickly. Starting with the semi next week.

Bad day at the office. Don't think it will turn out to be critical though.

That would be absolutely catastrophic. No matter how you look at it, it would be a bottle job on a similar level to United in 11/12. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Don't agree with this.

If these players have run out of steam playing one game a week all season then we have a massive issue. I think we have many average individual players in our side and our striker is hopeless currently.

We will win the title, just.

Big wake up call, Conte is going to blast them.

Hard away games to come at Everton and Westbrom. Hopefully we get it right

But we were winning one game a week with high octane football. We didn't let the opposition have the ball. Can't do that indefinitely. Spurs are now on the run we were on

Spurs have a tough run coming up, this is where we will find out a lot about them. If they win 13 games in a row, then they deserve to win it.

It is pay back time Conte

Our home games are against S'ton, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Watford: It's totally possible to get the max 12 points out of these games. BUT our away games are against Everton and WBA, very difficult ones. We should win one of them, don't see it happen. I am afraid of Spurs winning all their remaining games. Did we lose the tittle in the Palace game?

Truth be told, after the abysmal last season I was hoping we would be back in Champions  League. Winning the PL would be an absolute cherry on top.

Worried about the fact we can't seem to keep a clean sheet recently, Something needs to change can't see how JT would do any worse at the back would certainly organise and motivate the lads.

Just didn't turn up today need to get back to winning ways asap, Come on the Chels.::ChELSeAFaN::

Bad juju started with Cesc's accident in the park, continued with apperently stupid Tibo's injury at comercial shooting and ended on OT with a wormup injury of our cruical player (oh f**k what are the odds!?) and of course disgraceful ref which led to the straight second goal which we recevied after handball. And the f**ker was in offside not to forget a million and one this year for manure c**ts. On the top of that, WE WERE sh*t!

Just one horrible day. Friends Kodi box wouldn't work and 5 streams went down on me. Plus all that you've mentioned above. Head F*ck of a day.

Conte seems to blam him self for the lack of motivation.

but that does my head in is how can't the players be motivated even without conte!? Chance to increase that gap to 7. Playing at old Trafford ffs!

i just knew we were in trouble right before kick off. 2 sudden injuries I dunno seemed like a bad omen to me.

we need to regroup and go on a run now

In hindsight, we put our PL chances at risk by not cashing in Costa in January. When I questioned Costa's commitment on this site 2-3 months ago, I got slated by fellow members. I know it's shoulda-coulda-woulda, and nobody could predict that his head would get turned so badly, but I think for Costa's sale money we could have met buy-out clause of some very decent players.

Well that was f**king awful. Poor both on and off the pitch. Not sure why losing one player in the warmup should result in so many positional changes. Disruptive yes but we should be able to overcome this with minimal fuss. Instead we end up changing the full pattern of our play. Even worse though is we knew the lineup of the opponents when the change had to be made and where the battles would be won and lost. Jose as we know relishes these type of matches, this is were his siege mentality works to great effect, our players know this too but to a man were out-battled on the pitch. Simply not good enough and it shows there still is a mental fragility hidden within the team. This result could be very damaging to the morale and the SF now gains great importance to restore this. A performance like we have just seen cannot be tolerated.

Not sure if its true but if Tibo got injured doing an NBA promotion like is being reported he should be heavily fined. Is it too much to expect professional footballers who already paid a kings ransom in wages per week to concentrate on the playing side of things especially at a crucial stage of the season?

If your in the UK, you need to get behind a VPN, the six main ISP's can now stop connection to anything they suspect to be a dodgy stream. This will only get worse, at present they are just experimenting ready for next season.

agree to a point, but it helps when your opponents make two absolute last minute chances to their defence, especially when they try to play out from defence. I think that massively contributed to our inability to play out.

the margins were very fine in determining the result- you have to give jose credit for the win, the pattern of the game clearly showed one side was better (despite the nature of the goals). don't think conte could've done a huge amount differently as his coaching relies on players learning the way they move by rote- we were in big trouble before a ball was kicked.

The injuries didn't help for sure but we have mostly been unaffected by losing players to injuries this year. Besides, apparently Alonso reported feeling unwell this morning so Conte must have planned for that.

The one thing I am certain Conte didn't anticipate in any shape of form was Mourinho leaving out Ibra. It proved to be an astute move as Lingaard and Rashford exposed us with their movement, especially Rashford. The man-marking of Hazard was a gamble from Jose as it is incredibly hard to do perfectly for 90 minutes. It takes a  certain type of player and an exceptional level of concentration. In a situation where there is a 60/40 ball and you are the closest player, the instinct is to go for the ball. Most players will just react instinctively in that situation and leave their man. A player like David Luiz could never do a man-marking job like Herrera did on Hazard today.

As in any football match there are so many variables and all a manager can do before the start is try to predict them and plan accordingly. I thought that was the old Jose today, gambled a bit, nullified our key strengths in Hazard and Kante, and definately, 100% definately, had them tracking back far quicker than they have done in our previous games.  I have refused to criticise Conte for anything he has done so far this season, but is becoming clear Costa is a problem he seems reluctant to tackle.

Alot of our troubles would have been solved by playing 3-5-2, with Pedro and Hazard as strikers. We would have had 3 against 3 in midfield, Herrera wouldn't have been able to mark Hazard without giving us advantage in central midfield and we would have played with 11 men (no Costa).

As I said earlier we have lacked an alternative for Costa whole season. Latest during the January window we should have got  another top striker. We should have done that even no one could see Costa's total collapse coming.
