June 22, 20179 yr I said it many times, he is not the type of striker, Conte like or prefer. Thats why we are not interested in him.

June 22, 20179 yr Would take Auba over Lukaku any day of the week, but Lukaku still has potential to be great
June 22, 20179 yr Dortmund set the asking price at 63 million apparently, tell Lukaku get the f**k away to somewhere else and bid 70 on Aubameyang right now please.
June 23, 20179 yr Isn't Real Madrid his preferred destination.Well he has asked to leave and Real aren't particularly interested in signing him so he's going to have to go somewhere else. I'll be massively disappointed if we don't make a bid.
June 23, 20179 yr Author The player has asked to leave, Dortmund are apparently asking for just over £60 million..........why aren't every top club all over this ? I have heard more rumours about the likes of Lukaku and Morata moving for big money moves than i have this guy in the last few weeks and he is far better than both of them.

June 23, 20179 yr Probably because we have zero interest in him. And it`s obvious Conte like taran type striker, like Costa for example. Lukaku, Morata. Otherwise we would probably see a little bit more of Bats too. What striker he used in Juve as well ? Aubameyang is a type of a light striker. Klop for example like such strikers. So i don`t see why we are even talking in this thread, unless some real interest come from us.

At Juve he used both types, a CF that is good at hold up play, strong, tall etc. Llorente, Vucinic alongside a deep lying forward that sometimes does the dirty work, dropping deep, pressuring CBs and poaching like Tevez, Del Piero, Giovinco
June 23, 20179 yr Kinda hope he goes to Liverpool. It'll be so easy just to sit deep and smash a big ball over the top and kill them on the counter attack with all the attackers.

Like Aguero(in Atletico Madrid), Rooney or Tevez for example. Atleast not for me. He is more like a Torres type of striker, which i think won`t work with our style and type of play. This guys, they can hold the ball well, their control is great, and they can make the team game. They also have great distance shot, they lure defenders and make free space for the "taran" type of striker, like Costa/Lukaku. I don`t see and think Aubameyang fit any of this 2 role. He is demanding striker, like Torres, and the team need to be build arround him. And for the 2 strikers in front. I don`t think we will go for that system. Mainly because Hazard. In 3/4/3 or 4/4/2(diamond, like 2009) i don`t see where Hazard can`t fit. He is not good for second striker, cause hes shots is not good enough, esp. his distance shots. In 4/4/2 you are going to play with 2 wide midfielders. And they need to constatnly go back to help the defence. 3/4/3 is perfect for Hazard. He have more of a free role to play and can go wide or cut inside and lure defenders and left huge space for the wingback. Maybe 4/2/4 will suit him good, but atleast to me this is too offensive system to play and will lose even more in defence then 3/4/3.
June 23, 20179 yr Taran striker, are we just making up words now?? Thought it was a typo first time around. But there it is again.

I think he's a Pedro replacement more than Costa but the jury's still out on that one. While I think this is a language thing, what is a 'Taran' striker and why is this description is apt when there are a plethora of other terms for forwards namely poacher, fox-in-the-box, target man, complete forwards and etc?
June 24, 20179 yr My bad with the word "taran". It`s from my language. It`s a typical type of Striker. More heavy type, like Costa, Drogba, Lukaku. Edited June 24, 20179 yr by brakeit

I agree with this. I think he is a great player and would love to have him in our team, however for us he would be more suited on the right than as a centre forward, much like Griezmann. For this reason i feel we will prioritise someone that is suited to lead the line. Mind you if we do buy him aswell as Lukaku our attacking 3 would be incredible.
July 8, 20179 yr Overpriced for his age but no doubting his ability to score goals. A plus is experience and that he will not likely block Tammy from becoming first choice if he is good enough. On the negative side the value of a large fee over fewer years than the other two remaining "top" talents we have been linked with. I personally don't believe this story. I don't believe we will pay such large fees. Prove me wrong with Sandro then I will believe more, or a striker first then Sandro.
July 8, 20179 yr Author He's the one i want the most. I know he is 28, and some will want a striker a bit younger, but 4, 5, or if we are lucky, 6 years out of him would be great. He's up there with the very best on the planet. Top goalscorer in Germany last year with 31 league goals, ahead of Lewandowski. He's really fast too, we would be even more deadly on the counter than we were last season. But as usual, it's probably just more media bullsh*t.
July 8, 20179 yr 6 years is a little optimistic. These athletic, speed based players tend to disintegrate physically the quickest. He has 4 years of top play in him if we're lucky. I'll take him over Morata, but not over Il Gallo.
