Mourinho's always been a big fan of his too, am sure he'd love him at United but knows Wenger will never deal with him which is why they've not even been credibly linked with Sanchez.

Chamberlain seems determined to leave and I think Wenger is petty enough to choose to sell him to us or Liverpool now for £20m or so in order to keep him out of United's hands next summer on a free.

We sold Lukaku to Everton...let's hope they aren't as ungrateful. I like the idea of ox as long as he tames that poodle on his head 

I would be genuinely happy with this transfer, always rated Ox. Viewed him as a more versatile Walcott.

His biggest flaw has always been his injury record which I'm confident enough in our medicinal team, with the wonders they work each season, to straighten that out.

Not the kind of signing that puts you on the edge of your seat but for the right price he'd make a very good squad rotation player which we need more of now.

 

I'm all for it as long aw we're not chucking silly money at it as I don't think he'd be a starter.

Quality player that has had his career messed about by wenger.  I don't see him as a wing back at all. Much better in the middle for me.

He's not very good defensively. He is hardly a goal-scoring midfielder either, with the most PL goals he's got in a season is 2.

He would just be a bit of a Phil Neville, filling in in various positions and nothing special in any of them.

I feel Ox is very Moses-ish. From the few games that he has played as a RWB, he surely looks good.

Boga was terrific today...really direct in his running and prepared to take on the man...he deserved his place today...

I agree, defensively, he looked sh*t. Moses look's 10x the player defensively. If we bring him in, he will be behind Moses for sure, which means he will get less game time than he does at Arsenal.

If this is true, i think he would play RWB for us and rotate with Moses more than play on the wing. He played there towards the end of the season for Arsenal and actually did quite well. I'm not sure he is defensively as good as Moses but he's definitely better going forward. Signing him wouldn't excite me much, but to fill out the homegrown players and add another natural wide player, i think he would be a good squad player.

Always forget about this homegrown rule..

Tomori played well at RWB for the 2nd half today, Conte must fancy him as back up for Moses now.

If we were going to have a youth player as a back up rwb, it should have been aina,far ahead in his development than tomori. The fact that we were after danilo means that we are looking to strengthen that position.

No way for me to prove that its a "Fact" but I would still say too much smoke without any fire.

Anyways, it would be illogical to loan out your best bet for RWB and keep an even raw youth player for the same position. Tomori did play a good 20minutes but wont be surprised if we did end up buying a back up RWB.

It is entirely possible that one player can leap frog another player, especially in their younger years where things can change drastically quick as a player grows.
