Its not the score that is worrying.

Its the gulf both technically and tactically between the two sides. I dont think this is a fitness issue.

My brother follows Juventus and he says we should not be too worried about the score in pre-season. Apparently the pre-season training regime under Conte is brutal and until match fitness is completely regained by the players, results are usually pretty bad at the start due to exhaustion.

I actually think we look relatively sharp from a physical point of view. As I said im more worried technically and tactically.

Oh god... Pitiful. So it's an over-elaborate silly celebration thing rehearsed in front of the mirror, hoping to please 12-year old kids

12 year olds do love it a lot

What today does prove is that Luiz is always our centre of defence and that Cahill needs replacing...

agreed. a lot of people saying Cahill is being scapegoated but he really is the weakness in the Chelsea 11.

Much better second half from us, but the damage was done in the first 30 minutes.  Glad that we didn't lay down and die and at least fought back.  Still some work to do, but I trust Conte will have us fit and firing come the first week of the season.

FT: Chelsea 2 - 3 Bayern
Not too disappointed to be honest, we did well to get 2 goals back when we were 3 down, shows fight in the dressing room.
It's only pre-season but I still believe we could use the addition of 1-2 more players that could not only add depth but also challenge for a place in the starting 11.
Praise be Alex Sandro
