Arsenal Vs Chelsea (CS) Sun 6th Aug 2017 KO 14:00 GMT

Featured Replies

If it wasn't for not wanting to lose to Arsenal even in a kickabout in the playground and avenging the FA cup loss I couldn't give a toss about the CS, I'm way more focused on getting players in for the start of the season, to me this is just a pre season game on steroids.

Not confident about this one - can't put my finger on why.

Midfield worries me and I hope Alonso is on it.

No Moses I assume either?

He's eligible to play as it's a friendly...his ban is next week against Burnley...

For some reason I woke up thinking the match was today. What a let down.

Lucky for you that you didn't trot down Wembley Lane  for me it's a 6am KO - I guess I will drag my fat ass out of my bed & make a nice hot mocca to watch the match - don't worry mates I won't get too up for it - like The Great Frank LeBoeuf said yesterday, "if you lose one pretends that you don't really care, but if you win you brag a lil' bit'

Frank makes a great point, then he said he counted the Community Shield that he won w/ CFC as one of his favorites, right up there with winning the 98 World Cup. I am sure he was having a laugh

Haha I did set my alarm early to work out first. Turned on FoxSports app and I was real confused why it wasn't popping up.

I think we will struggle here. Only Bats is in good form from our players.

I don't think Conte would lose on purpose but as he is massively frustrated in our transfer dealings this kind of game you 'can lose'. I'm sure Conte has Burnley and the small squad on top of his head.

Frank was marking Ronaldo in the final...put in a top class performance.

Courtois, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Fabregas, Kante, Moses, Willian, Batshuayi, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Eduardo, Christiansen, Tomori, Musonda, Boga, Remy, Baker, Morata.

So basically the entire squad apart from the injured ones.

If a player now gets left out of the team, they have a reason to feel really bad.

No Kenedy lol

Don't fancy our chances with so many important players missing. The Fabregas/Kante partnership doesn't work for me. I reckon it will be a re-run of the FA CUP Final. 3-1 to Arsenal. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

Lots of pessimists here.

We didn't have a great pre-season, but the one game we looked good in was against Arsenal so that should at least give us a bit of hope. Also expect us to play a bit more seriously in this one as after all it is still silverware despite it being a 'friendly'. I think I will go with a close Chelsea 2-1 win.

Really hoping the boys put in a solid performance today i know its just glorified friendly but a win would do wonders for their self confidence and give them some positive energy before Burnley next week...oh and I've made a new season resolution btw I'm not gonna predict the score before any match because I just end up jinxing it :good2:....KTBFFH!!! ::ChELSeAFaN::
