First game of the season I'm not on the edge of my seat watching.
Wonderful first-half. 

Not the most exciting game, but we are in control and dominating, almost the perfect half from us.

Just looking at the score it seems we had a good half? Do you see Everton as a threat on the second half.

I'm amazed this Everton side game Man City such a hard time.

More of the same second half lads.

 

Make it 3 so we can bring on some youth and give them a run out.

Morata may not yet be up to scratch physically, but being such a threat with his head he can score no matter how his game is going.  Can't wait until he has settled.  Impressed with Willian today, looking sharp.

Football can change so quickly so you never know, but at this point, we are playing well and totally dominating the game.

They haven't had a single touch of the ball in the Chelsea penalty area - showing nothing going forward. Don't know what they have to change the way this is going. 

Can't ask for more than that. Fabregas has been f**king brilliant, not just the goal, he's been pulling the strings. Willian has also been good. Can't fault anyone really. Pedro has given away the ball a few times and Morata was quite before the goal, but I'm nitpicking a little.

 

Surprised this is so easy. Thought Everton would put up more of a resistence. They've offered absolutely f**k all going forward. We're certainly good value for this 2-0 lead.

 

Keep it going lads.

To be honest 30 out of the 38 games in the league we can make do without Hazard, we don't look lost at all, we have our defence a top right back or Dave at RB and Andreas in, I'm quite happy with what I see tbh, a couple more players for depth and we are good inject hazard back into that, Morata and Baka up to speed, I think we are the best 11 in the leauge, I honestly do.

it is easier to play those balls in because he is free to put them in. The man meant to mark him is an attacker and we know how good they are at marking. In the wing back position he will be up against a defender or wingback so will have to beat his man and then cross.  He is a good emergency but would rather have Moses and who ever the wing back is that we buy bcoz we def need one or Moses will be gassed out, Same with Alonso

Agreed, Willian is looking good every time he gets the ball, one of the best 45s I've seen from him.

Man City have been super pedestrian in their last two league games. I don't know what is going on in there. They luckily won at Bournemouth and Everton contained them with relative ease.

VM hasn't put in a ball in his life, he can get to the line but then can't to anything

For a change, the schedule has been very kind to us, in that Everton had to play in Croatia mid-week, after having played Citeh last weekend.  They are very tired, and it shows. 

I hope we continue in the same form in the 2nd. Really outstanding so far.

Imagine Hazard taking place of Pedro - this team has a huge offensive quality. I'm impressed. Cesc, Kante, Chamberlain, Alonso, Hazard, Willian, Morata. Scary af.

Everton haven't offered much so far. They look tired from their trip to Croatia.

Ours to lose from here but they honestly can't play worse.

It was meant to be, mcgregor fight was on at about 2pm here. Got smashed at the pub for that and came home and passed out. Woke up and it was all dark, freaked out that i missed the game, looked at my watch, woke up with 5 mins to spare. 

Great first half. 

Hungover at 11.25 pm is a weird feeling though.

Have Moses or Baines had a touch in this game? Either both are marking each other out of the game or there's a funny smell on that side of the pitch.

To be fair to pedro, his work rate today has been good and put a lot of pressure on Evertons back line.

Yeah, absolutely baffled why this game's not on TV. just looked at the HT score and it's 0-0 between WBA and Stoke. What a surprise.
