I really can't believe we didn't jump on Toljan. Even the majority of fans have earmarked him as a brilliant back up wing back, ticks all the boxes and cheap.

I swear the board are a bunch of useless buffoons, honestly think some of us can do a better job. I'm just feeling really pissed off so this is probably an exaggeration but if we can see so many available wingbacks before they were snapped up why couldn't the board? It really beggars belief.

    All our targets seem to be heading elsewhere and we can't get rid of Diego according to the media.

    I can't understand why we leave it last minute, It gives no time for the selling club to replace the player you are after. We have to over spend now and maybe even panic buy our 3rd or 4th choice targets.

    Well there have been no reports that we've ever made a bid, just "interest", which is probably haggling over a couple of quid, while other clubs just swoop in and pay the money.

    Or too tight? Maybe they wanted more than we were prepared to offer?

    I really can not understand how people are so jiffy about Llorente going to Spuds. He had one decent season at Juventus (4 years ago) then one terrible at Juventus and then one at Sevilla as well.

    One decent season at Swansea at the end of Sigurdsson crosses doesn't make me rate him more than a £30 mill striker that heaped in goals for Marseille at the age of 21/22. Give him time. Morata is going to be a stud anyway. 

     

    Also, Aurier is a nutcase. When we are finally going to get rid of the best nutcase in the world, why replace him with PSG's current 3rd choice (or, before he signed for Spuds). Also no evidence we were ever in for him. I'm all for getting a "body" in as wingback backup fodder, but not this guy. Sagna or someone could do for the Carabao. 

    What irritates me is letting all of our promising youngsters go on loan, Aina, RLC, Tammy. But really, two wrongs dont make a right. 

     

    Also - please keep last year in mind, which actually turned out quite alright with two of our currently most important players joining at the last minute and also out of the blue.
