Sure we have a tiny squad, and we're f**ked if we get any injuries, and sure we are competing in 4 competitions, but I'm sure the board knows what they are doing, and there are still months weeks days hours left to bring in the 3-4 players we need.

Largely agree with this, although I don't think Sagna could still do a job at wing-back. Great player in his day though.

We're still pretty thin at wing-back and in midfield though. My main concern in all this would be keeping Conte happy.

What irritates me is letting all of our promising youngsters go on loan, Aina, RLC, Tammy. But really, two wrongs dont make a right. 

 

Also - please keep last year in mind, which actually turned out quite alright with two of our currently most important players joining at the last minute and also out of the blue.

 

Cause we need a squad that's the issue here.

I agree on Aurier though.

Also agree on letting those players out when we have no replacements.

Looks like Spurs have beaten Chelsea to Fernando Llorente - that's now 1/20 to go through with reports that he's undergoing a medical - and now the champions may also be set to miss out on Riyad Mahrez - he's now odds on to join Barcelona with Chelsea out to 6/4.

The transfer odds only react to what people put money on , largely based on what everybody is reading on twitter and the likes of SSN. The market is relatively quite small so even smallish amounts of money can bring a price in and move other prices out. Bookmakers will react more on news of a medical and move a price to long odds on as the probability is more likely and they no longer want to attract money in on that bet.

This is really irritating. 

There's still some blue tinted glasses being worn here. Is it any wonder why fans were getting itchy feet about the squad in july. Now we are down to the last 10 hours of the window. Many players that could've been good for us have been and gone. Some still don't believe we even wanted any of the players we have missed, but with us still needing 3 or 4 players, you would have to question why we wouldn't have been interested, and if we truly weren't interested, who are trying to bring in? 

It's not 1 particular player that has got my back up, it's the last 3 summers of failures. 

Everyone thought finishing 10th would be the wake up call we needed, but it seems the club truly believe the only person at fault for that season was mourinho.
