These odds change all the time but we have been favourite to sign Mahrez with very short odds all day. It's funny that there is absolutely no news from the major sources with some journalists not sure where he even is.

 

I'm shocked that these people don't know where Mahrez is.......stalking people is the one thing they are good at.

Maybe Kante intercepted his flight to Barcelona.

Quoted same source bien, only Ines reporting a bid, seems to me that Leicester maybe are denying a bid because they are in for someone and if it's confirmed mahrez has gone it may drive up the price of his replacement

That's one theory I didn't think of

I actually think Mahrez could work in a two up front, he has a good turn of speedwhen it suits him.

If we go 2 up front, we'd presumably go 3-5-2, whcih would mean there is no place for attacking wide players, so, unless we play a 3-5-1-1 with Hazard just behind, it wouldn't make sense, as we would be playing a system that pushes out our 3 creative/attacking players (Hazard, Willian, Pedro).

Say you're coming together on a price you're 6 or 7 million apart, selling team hears you sold one of your stars, who has the negotiating power now? So lose 5-10 million to break a Story everyone will know by 11 o'clock anyway, can't say that is the reason but it's a possibility because bien and the bookies seem certain and he is going somewhere he left the national team and they confirmed he did so to sort out his future. 

I'd also like to make the point that I think a lot of people forget.
We're not permanently in the 343 formation. We do have the ability to change but we need the right players to do so successfully.

To be fair mahrez, drinkwater and this RB zippy or whatever he is called would be a very good window in all, would be pleasantly surprised.
