If we can't keep Hazard or Courtois, at least they've added a big chunk to their value with that performance.

Well Courtois can leave for free next summer if he doesn't sign a new contract or leave this summer.

I missed it, what did he say?

I thought at the time that the comments were blown out of proportion.

when the interview was ending he said (paraphrasing) "can I just say I did not mock Jordan's height, I would never do that. I simply said I might have been able to make the save because I am 15cm taller but I wasn't mocking Jordan."

So as expected, the media blew it out of proportion and people fell for it......again.

Yet again the South American teams have failed in more European conditions. Not sure why this should be, perhaps they are able to control the tempo of a match easier in conditions of high humidity and temperature.  This world cup is continuing to deliver, is it any coincidence that my favourites have all been held in Europe?

Chadli has surprised me. Did he play like that at West Brom?

He had some good early performances yet they said on the box tonight he was injured for a lot of the season.

Also gotta give Griezman credit for sportsmanship. Some other players(neymar pops out in my head for instance) would have done some crazy-ass celebration or clown thing. But he kept his dignity and valor and didn't gloating in front of Muslera's face. What a gentleman!

I give the sportsmanship fair play price to the Belgian B team.

All the best v France.

Hadn't realised until yesterday Thierry Henry is a coach for Belgium. Interesting for him that they now face France.
