only 2 previous winners left....I'm loving this tournament. Can't wait for tomorrow - even Russia v Croatia looks like a game with a big home support behind the weaker of those 2 sides.

one of the best games of this world cup so far

Lukaku still has a dodgy touch yet that was a monster performance out there tonight.

Hazard and De Bruyne were also very special.

Chadli, Witsel and Fellaini also were very good as was the defence.

They had some luck in the 2nd half I like to think they earned it.

Chadli has surprised me. Did he play like that at West Brom? 

Yet again the South American teams have failed in more European conditions. Not sure why this should be, perhaps they are able to control the tempo of a match easier in conditions of high humidity and temperature.  This world cup is continuing to deliver, is it any coincidence that my favourites have all been held in Europe?

Also gotta give Griezman credit for sportsmanship. Some other players(neymar pops out in my head for instance) would have done some crazy-ass celebration or clown thing. But he kept his dignity and valor and didn't gloating in front of Muslera's face. What a gentleman!
