We've got a new Kepa

3 shots faced, 3 goals conceded. Thankfully 1 of them was offside. Sell him.

I don't put a lot of faith in stats but his are disgusting, I think it's time to be looking at our options here.

Any decent goalkeepers saves Bellerins goal.

Gives him away if we have to. Just don't make me see him in goal for us again.

Useless would be a compliment for this fraud.

Counter attacks have been a big issue this season but Kepa is just horrible. He can't save anything, just put it on target it's a goal.

Just look at his positioning here. There isn't a word strong enough to describe how terrible that is. I'd expect a five-year old to do better.

Can't believe we let Bulka go and on a free to PSG.

We had him for three years from 16-19 and I said before, he looked the best keeper we have ever had at the academy. I thought we finally had a good young keeper who could go on to be our No.1 for a good few years. Then suddenly we sign Kepa (who I had never heard of) for £70M and our young prospect sees the way blocked to regular first team football and leaves for £0. Mark my words, in a couple of seasons, this lad will be one of the top keepers in football whilst Kepa is plying his trade in the third tier of La Liga.

Really poor business by the club. We have been well & truly Mugged.

Totally agree seen him play against Arsenal in a pre season game thought he was definitely one for the future.

if it softens the blow for anyone if you take into account what we got for the snake we really only paid 36 million for kepa.

Grrr...

This dude is really frustrating me now. Doesn't help he looks like an angry little girl either.

Doesn't help after his last seasons antics that potentially cost us a cup. I still dislike him for that, this season I'm starting to dislike him more than Tibo.

I never ever thought I would say this, but I would've preferred to have Tibo in goal right now.

I say stick one of the outfield players in goal if we need a keeper with good distribution.

Just stick me in goal mate and I'm 50!!!

I don't think there's anything wrong with his attitude, he tries to do well. But recently some analysts are saying there's big problems with his technique and positioning. He does have great reaction times and athleticism and if you watch our goalkeeper training videos on Youtube, he's definitely our best keeper in terms of that. It's him or the goalkeeping coaching that's not good enough.

Tibo had his limitations, and of course left under a cloud, but he always inspired more confidence. Especially when it came to crosses. I think Kepa is on the shorter side for a keeper and that probably doesn't help. He is young and will probably improve with experience. But some of his limitations will stay I think. If we are looking for the best players I just don't feel as though he falls in that category sadly.

I wasn’t confident at all in his last season, he was too busy sulking.

Still when you think of the money we invested in Kepa we could have done much better in replacing Tibo surely?

You don't need to tell me that, I only rated Courtois after his first season here, I quickly went off him. I thought his shot stopping was severely overrated and I think Kepa's is better, but I think with Courtois we would concede less goals. Kepa is too much of a liability in the air, he's like David De Gea in 2011 on steroids, at least De Gea cut it out and went on to be an exceptional keeper a year later, Kepa doesn't seem to be changing at all, can we really afford to have him as our keeper?

Don't care about his attitude or that he's the best keeper in training, in nearly 40 years going to the bridge he's the worst keeper and most unnatural keeper we've had

At the time we were linked with Pickford and Butland. The only other player worth going for was Alisson. We should have just given Bulka a bit of faith.

The problem we have is that our backup is one of the most brain fart goalkeepers I have ever seen. He is also terrible from any shot that is hit from 25 yards out. I would give Jamie Cumming a go before playing Caballero for more than 1 game.

Maybe we can sort it out, hell we have to try, he's a £70m problem. If we sell now we'd make a massive loss and pay a premium for the next guy.

Willy will play on Saturday and if he has a good game I’d leave him in for a bit. Make Kepa realise he’s not undroppable at least. Who knows, we might actually save a shot or two.
