Half asleep out there.......Sarii needs to fire them up if they cant bother with it themselves. The days where we had players who were second strings and willing to show their quality inorder to get first team opportunities are gone. Many teams suffer this.

I see the usual suspects are posting their usual Willian moans, despite how he is playing, Ruben having probably the worst half of football I have seen from him in a Chelsea shirt and I don't know what Barkley brings to the table.

Still, a scratch team, playing together for the first time in a dead rubber, and STILL people are whingeing!

Not spoilt, us armchair Chelsea fans, are we?

Urgh, good finish, but we are playing poor. I know we have already won the group, but this kind of performance has been something we have seen a lot of from us. One game we look up for it, then we don't look interested.

Willian has given it away more than anybody tonight, one goal from a freekick doesn't change the fact that he has been poor again. If somebody is playing consistently poor, then people are going to point it out, just like you do when Barkley plays poor.

Willian and CHO are the only ones creating anything, the rest have done sweet FA

You tell me how we can improve the squad in January then, realistically.

You can though; 1-2 players to help secure top 4. As things stand, not sure I would bet on us with no firepower up front. We have a very large squad which Sarri has complained about, this might be hindering him from getting his ideas across effectively.

We can afford to lose Moses, Drinkwater and Cahill as things stand, Fekir depending on how his knees hold up will upgrade our CM/RW/FW. Add Lozano who is a clear upgrade on both Willian/Pedro and we should sneak top 4.

Willian hasn't actually created anything though, none of his passes or crosses are getting anywhere near our attacking players.

Are Fekir and Lozano realistic signings though? Seeing as we can only fit one more non-homegrown player into the team, I would say it isn't.

Its a meaningless game for us and that is reflected in our play. Good to see some of the younger players getting a start and they have been among our brighter performers so far. If anything I would have played more of the youth. Who cares about the score? It is great experience for them.

Well ... Since we're top and already qualified as such, it does not reallly surprise me that we look so so tonight. Would love to win though to make it 6 in a row but I can understand the players not being totally there though.

Lozano is as PSV are out of Europe. Lyon would take the £57m for Fekir after the botched summer move. Hypothetically we buy both and we can afford to lose 2 of Morata/Giroud/Willian/Pedro

Giroud should have scored that. That was perfectly set up for him by Emerson.

It really wasn't. It was a terrible pass, absolutely no need to lift it, just play it along the floor.
