Christian Pulisic - Official

Just remembered that Milan have Rafael Leao as their LW, has he gone there to play as a back up? If he ends up playing as a RW that will be fun to watch, as I think he is one footed and kept on running into blind alleys when he was tried there with us.

10 points! but was the one they lost!

Educated guess, I don’t think I was here then.

Can you hand our bonus points to @Munkworth?

@Zetawill you honour this?

Of course he won’t, he didn’t even honour my legitimately won points.

It was probably during Munkworth: The sh*tfaced Years where I wasn’t mentally anywhere other than the pub.

I think that game was around 2007, so @Munkworth was probably just starting gardening course at college, @CaitlinCFC was hopping around in nappies, @Valerie was still appearing in Penthouse and @coco was cashing out his retirement!

Oh and @loz still had a bit of a Barnet going on!

2007 was when Munkworth: The sh*tfaced Years we’re reaching their peak and I’d just started my chef apprenticeship that summer!

And @Mod was cruising around in a Ford Capri with fluffy dice

Another day, another new thing learned about @Valerie

It seems as if Pioli sees him as a no. 10, which makes sense given Milan's outgoings.

If he can stay healthy it is not a bad fit as he's quite good at making late runs into the box, and would actually give Leao targets to aim at, as well as someone for Giroud to play off.

With Brahim Diaz leaving it looks more like Pulisic will be playing in the 10 like he has for the US.

I`m looking forward to hearing from his "fanbase" every time he has a half decent game in a lower level league. Isnt that going to be joyous.

You won't hear from them, luckily all the Chelsea Pulisic fans are now on the AC Milan forums telling them they need to sell Leao for peanuts to accommodate Pulisic in his natural position.

I'm looking forward to the howls on this forum after one decent game, while we're doing meh: "never should have sold Puli!"

If the likes of Giroud, Tammy, and Lukaku doing well in the Italian league doesn't tell you everything you need to know - then nothing will.

Snails paced retirement league. Puli will do well.  Shame he couldn't cut it in the prem

This is often said. It might be true. Probably is true.

However, Inter and AC Milan battled in the all Italian Champions League Semi-final last season which seems to suggest that Serie A is more than a retirement league.

He's not that bad of a player, give him a fresh start and he will have some good games. Whether he will last a whole season it's still yet to be answered.  Italian teams aren't that bad, although our best performances over the last 2 seasons came against them, maybe English teams have a little edge over them.

On the contrary in my opinion. In fact this argument has often been used fro numerous European clubs. Surely the less demanding nature of leagues such as Serie A allows clubs with deep squads to retain freshness and better stability due to less squad depletion through injury thus allowing for a more focused attempt at European football. PSG is often a point in case as well.
