Christian Pulisic - Official

Can not stay fit. And even when fit not good enough. I can`t believe there are people here who want to keep him.

He probably had the potential to develop into a really good player but his body is simply not durable enough. I don`t think moving to another league is going to fix it either.

Focal point of Team USA, nothing for his club. If we manage to get 15-20m just ship him out. When we bought him I felt like he was for the US market. Hope he did something for us in that regard.

2-3 great goals for us in this long period.

I felt he was bought because he promised to be an outstanding player 😁

Bar a match here and there between injuries, he never fulfilled that promise for us. He needs to play in a different league, we shouldn't waste another season and a place in the squad to see if he can consistently deliver under his umpeenth Chelsea manager. Take whatever money is offered and show him the door.

Said it before but he is the USA's Harry Kewell.

The Great White Hope of an international minnow desperate for a GOAT contender, whose body let him down at the top level and ends up being surpassed by other players of his generation.

At least we know he'll be fit for the Champions' League final.

Bought for the US market, he had potential but unfortunately his physicality lets him down.

Hes injured more than fit and wants to be a starter when he is fit

He is a skillful player, but very fragile. When returned to full fitness, it took too many games to get his form back. so at an elite club he could never get the time to get back in the swing of things. In a slower league and with time to get his form back, he may do well, but far too fragile.

Saying he was "bought for the US market" was uninformed at the time and is still a poor argument in hindsight, especially given his sporadic success at Chelsea. Pulisic was bought because he genuinely was one of the best young attacking talents on the planet while at Dortmund. As a teenager starring in a much stronger Bundesliga than the one that has produced Havertz, Werner and Nkunku, there was no question about his potential.

However, as people pointed out here, his body just isn't suited to top-tier football for whatever reason. He's had recurring muscle injuries since August 2018, which are a real obstacle for an explosive attacking player, and his injury rate only accelerated with the demands of Premier League football.

Fantastic, should be able to get us a 13 year old Peruvian wonderkid that'll fit nicely in the team in 2030.

This kid's available for a can of Coke and a cheeseburger. Pre-pubescent, which is the order of the day, but not especially mobile.

Even though I’m not a fan, I think he will genuinely do okay in the Série A

I think he is too soft. Serie A may not have the same intensity of the Premier League, but it could be more physical, and I think Pulisic will struggle with that.

It's funny how different the top leagues are. Premier League is 90+ minutes of intensity. Serie A is slow compared to the other 3, but physical. Bundesliga, everybody seems to play a high line with a lot of fast paced attacks, but lacks the same physicality of the other leagues. La Liga is more technical, with a lot of tactical fouling.

There is cultural factor but the biggest factor is how the game is being ref.

That's the problem he'll face. Serie A defending can be, um, agricultural. It will be a case of his speed -v- being hacked down.

Milan are said to be confident that a deal will be wrapped up within the next 48 hours, with the 'final direct contact' between Chelsea and those in power at the San Siro expected to take place on Friday. The move will bring an end to Pulisic's four-year spell with the Blues, who he joined from Borussia Dortmund back in 2019 for a transfer fee in the region of £54m.

It’s happening!!!
