January 1, 20206 yr Glad to see him back on the pitch today. Wished he had stayed on for another 10 minutes or so, Chelsea was having really good momentum in the attack when he was subbed.

He wasn't looking brilliant, but he was the only player looking likely to get beyond their defence.

This is it, no problem if the substitution works and we get the goal yet when it does not it just seems like Frank has lost the plot.

That yahoo twitter thread made it seem like the tinfoil hat group were beginning the Anti-American/English Bias conspiracy again. It would have been moments away from the American sports media to pick up the story and put unnecessary pressure on Pulisic. ESPN just named Pulisic one of the Top 5 "NEW young EPL players" so far this season, along with Mount and Tomori. What you all think? Fair, or is this just American media biased? Not sure I trust this Top 5 NEW Young EPL players list without Tammy on it. PS: Pepe was named one of the Top 5 worst signings of the season. https://www.espn.com/soccer/english-premier-league/story/4025712/bill-barnwells-midseason-premier-league-awards-prizes-for-pulisicvan-dijk-and-de-bruyne Edited January 4, 20206 yr by haviet1

January 10, 20206 yr Gutted for him, I think he has been excellent this season despite having a few quiet games in the past two months, always looks dangerous when on the ball, I think he has serious potential. On the bright side this is a good chance for Callum to shine, Pulisic did the same when Callum was out, time for Callum to repay the favour.
January 11, 20206 yr I hope he use this time to rest up, come back fresher and stronger and help this team win. CHO did very well today. Really like his goal. That was good effort in making the run and try to be at the right place and right time to make an impact. Really love to see Pulisic and CHO getting a good run together on the pitch this season. I really think these two could be the future wingers/attackers for Chelsea.
January 26, 20206 yr Has there been any updates in his injury? Seems to be the forgotten man at the moment.

January 27, 20206 yr last update was that he's expected back after the winter break https://www.si.com/soccer/chelsea/news/frank-lampard-confirms-chelsea-winger-christian-pulisic-is-out-until-february

Might be available for Leicester if true!
January 28, 20206 yr I have nothing against CHO but I believe we are missing Pulisic! Hope he's doing better now.
January 30, 20206 yr Is he back training yet? I understand earlier reports state midweek he should be back training, not sure that's still the case.
January 31, 20206 yr Strange, Pulisic is saying he was 100% fine. https://metro.co.uk/2019/12/30/christian-pulisic-injury-chelsea-11977372/ Not strange because he practiced today but not with the team

February 2, 20206 yr He's close to returning which is great news! Mid February is exactly where we need him to be fresh and at his best, his stats are actually very similar to Mount that has been playing pretty much every game this season.
