None of my mates are City fans. They are Arsenal (mainly), Spuds, United and 1 Liverpool fan. So it will be more joy for them if City goes down later.

we will still finish above all of them (except liverpool) if we can just keep the players we have and the academy

Ive seem some Chelsea crisis's over the years, this is completely next level. 

I was hoping for a good owner, but right now that looks a pipedream.

At least from next season if this continues. I know Roman's assets have been seized until 31st May, but the gov can always renew the sanctions.

I'm thinking about the future of the club, not now.

No they won't. UK has been in bed with the Saudi for years and Saudis in general don't give a crap about economic wars or ego-driven wars.

It's a mess that's for sure.

On the positive side, we tend to win the Champions League in the years when there's chaos, but this is next level!

We should let fans in for free using a ballot system now. Lets get in there and make some noise!

We should protest everyday if someone like Mike Ashley or an American money-sucker buys our club.

Just heard about this.  WTF we can't sign new players or re-sign the ones we have.

I am ok with punishing Roman, sorry I know a lot of people disagree but he is an oligarch.  But these restrictions just punish the fans.

How dare we be fans of a football club.

Can we not keep the players who have longterm contracts? or will we be forced to sell them? will we have to recruit players on minimum wage?

Meanwhile, Tony Blair has about 10 homes around the world. No assets taken for old Tony, who we know for certain, made decisions that led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands.

Sad thing is we can't afford to do that. We need the sale to go through first or else the club is on a downward spiral

It could occur if the club ends up in administration, similar to what has happened to Derby County.

This isn't accurate Mana.

The assets have been indefinitely seized. We've been given a license to run the club until the 31st of May. The license may be renewed but the sanctions will stay in place until a sale or the club is placed into administration.

Administration is by far the most likely scenario here in my opinion.

My thoughts with the poor players, coaches, staff and supporters. They deserved none of this. 

There will be celebrations around the rest of the country, the like of which haven't been since VE day🤬

Not if we can't continue to pay them.

And we can't recruit anyone new at the moment.

We all know some of the members of parliament and houses are friends with Tony and Tony's not a threat to them

Worrying times, the government say they don’t want to punish the fans but they’ve done exactly that with the ticket situation. Hopefully this all gets resolved soon. All this sh*t can only mean one thing we’re winning the champions league again. Utc.

This is only a problem if the Govt doesn't find us a new owner.
