Players wages alone is £28m per MONTH. Roman and the Govt have to come to an agreement to force through a quick sale otherwise we’re screwed.

The sale of the club is very unlikely to achieve the 3 billion now as the debt to Fordstam(which will also be under government control) will now be part and parcel of the sale. 

Problem is now, when we are sold, it won't be to the best candiate, it'll be to whoever offers the government the most money. So probably some US consortium or something.

What happens about that money that was supposed to go to the victims of the invasion?

They are trapped. We're in March and we'll have to dig in through the clubs reserve funds to pay every employee attached to the club. We might have a lot of asset but I've seen firsthand of businesses with ample cash reserves ran dry last year.

Our wages are astronomical, the players will either go through a few months with an IOU or terminating their contracts right away but can't register for a new team.

I'm guessing this is to make RA accept an offer, some talk that RA is holding out for a buyer that will commit to a stadium rebuild and invest in the team.

Govt want a fast sale as international pressure is increasing to be be seen to not do any business with the Russians.

Stop panicking, we wont go out of business.

The debt to Fordstam is to Roman, any money coming in would be frozen or seized by the govt. 1.5bn is the lowest valuation right now and with the thousands of people bidding in, my guesstimate is 3bn would be the average. 

We are prime real estate for any major players in the ultra rich sector. Our location, pedigree, staff and infrastructure makes us very marketable. Any egoistic billionaire will want the title of "Saviour of Chelsea Football Club" taking back the pride of London from those dirty Russians or something of the like

Either way, the money won't go to the victims. That's for sure.

The Govt has no right to impose freezing the income of the club. It also violates the freedom of the players. We are genuinely stuck with Lukaku for the foreseeable future.

Will be interesting to see if Nick Candy and his consortium come to the forefront. He no doubt will have the connections within government being a substantial donor to the Conservatives. 

Given Yemen is still currently being bombed, I'm assuming the Newcastle owners will have their assets frozen also? or do we need their oil now that we will no longer be relying on Russian oil?

Perhaps about to lose our shirt sponsor as well. That's another £40 million a year off the table in that case.

For the sake of the club, Roman has to relinquish it ASAP by whatever means necessary.

If that means someone like Candy or an American consortium takes over, then so be it. We're no longer in a position where we can be choosy on  who we want our next owner to be.

I don't think he will. He won't be prepared to lose £2bn just like that.

Even if he wanted too his buddy would probably stop him. Abramovichs dealings with his Evraz shares 8 days before the invasion started paints a damning picture and so does the goverment statement about his involvement with Putin.

That’s what I’m thinking. Problem is that once the govt get involved, the whole process slows down

I don't think he'll have a choice. The value of the club will decline the longer this drags on.

This is now hurting our 'brand' and sponsors could be in the process of withdrawing their financial support which will hurt us badly.
