For one year.  I don’t think that changes much.  Conte was extended for an additional year and didn’t see it through.  PSG is obsessed with CL glory, so I’m sure he’s not on the longest leash, and if we offered a buyout I think they would consider it.

I agree, One year doesn't change much... hell four years doesn't change much...

but Conte wasn't extended. He just got a raise on his initial 3 year deal.

Thanks Chief, I have been going 35yrs, empty seats, booing, Sarri football, I go every game and listen to the chatter, anyone that endorses this garbage is seriously delusional

No one endorses "this garbage". What people endorse is that it would have improved next year.

This is what the Sarri outers don't seem to grasp. No one is saying the football looks good (although we played as good football in April and may as we played in any non title winning season in my memory), what people are saying is that this is a transition. That it would improve.

I genuinely can't see how we will improve as a club if we sack a manager after 10 months (and yes, he is being sacked even if Juventus give us money). Football has changed, giving players a new manager and hoping they do something different, doesn't win you a title.

Don't know what happened but he just threw a tantrum and walked down the tunnel during training:

Ahh that's right - after his first season they just redid his deal.

Dont know think Higuain and Luiz had words, whether that was what prompted Sarri to walk off, im not sure

Its petulant, it creates stories.

Here is a longer clip. Gudjohnsen calling the training session rubbish in the studio.

Bit of a farce really. To see this before a european-final?

If the reason he walked off was because of Higuaín v Luiz, an effective manager would pull the two players aside, and straighten it out immediately.  Not storm off in frustration.   It's the day before we play a final FFS.  Storming off like that for whatever reason is immature, and is not the action of someone who is in control.

Evidently Luiz and Higuain just had a dust-up as well.

Higuain ain't coming back.

@nelson1 must be Rory Jennings from Chelsea Fan TV ?

The ironic thing is most of the boo boys are justifying such behavior with Sarri not truly integrating himself and connecting with the fanbase, so what's their excuse for subjecting Jorginho (who's tried so hard to integrate with the fans he put his mum in the crowd with us at the start) to even worse treatment?

Evidently its the pressure of things not going quite right in training which has led Sarri to do that.  But as someone posted i watched that BT coverage, and Eidur said the last 20mins or so were rubbish, just standing round doing nothing.

Sarri is too emotional as Keown said, if there is such a thing.   Gets worked up over everything

Certainly not.

Any manager worth his salt would surely deal with that situation instead of throwing and kicking his cap multiple times and walking off leaving his players.

We may lack leaders in the team but the biggest issue is that we have no real leader managing us.

i dont think being emotional is the problem , Conte Mourinho Klopp and even Pep are all very emotional managers. Sarri seems angry like 95% of the time we see him. So when the players look at him they are not really inspired.

Di Marzio and Sky Italy is reporting he's become Juventus first choice for their new manager.

If thats the case i would be surprised if he's here come july. I don't think the club will sack him but i think he's going to leave himself if Juventus comes knocking.

not sure if anyone else followed up with your post but I just found this on twitter

not sure if the daily fail is a legit source for news though

Whatever goes on inside Sarri's head, as a manager he has to show he's always in control.

Not sure what the latest outburst is about. Perhaps the pressure is getting to him before the final, but he needs to get his sh*t together, and fast.

btw other news from Italy

don't forget that Roma are looking for a gaffer too

I've no doubt there are bust ups on the training pitch all the time. This though is a public session, why our manager feels the need to act like a petulant child on the eve of a major cup final, God knows. Even if the session hasn't gone to plan this should be aired in the dressing room out of the way of prying eyes. It shows a disconnect with the players he 'claimed to love' only an hour previous and shows us for what we are a club lacking leaders both on and off the pitch.

be just like the Gooners to claim we are f**ked and the victory is theirs, for us to then stick 2 or 3 past them

If we did, Sarri still wouldn't get any credit.
