If Utd. wins Europa league and finishes 3rd or 4th, does that mean that 5th place also grants Champions league?

I don’t think England gets the 5th spot unless a team wins the CL or Europa and finishes outside of the top 4. So what you’re suggesting wouldn’t happen.

Read my post above from the epl website.

Yes, and if city win the CL. If Wolves win that f**ks it up for 5th.

Should a Premier League club win the UEFA Europa League they will automatically qualify for the group stage of next season's UEFA Champions League regardless of their league finishing position.

A maximum of five Premier League teams are eligible for UEFA Champions League qualification.

In the event that a Premier League club win the UEFA Champions League and another win the UEFA Europa League and neither of these clubs finish in the top four of the Premier League, the club lying fourth in the table will drop into the UEFA Europa League group stage.

If United wins the Europa League and finishes outside of the top 4, they will take a Champions League spot alongside the teams that finished in the top 4, same goes for Wolves.

If City wins the Champions League, then nothing changes because they are already in the top 4. If they had finished outside of the top 4 and were to go on to win the Champions League, then they would get Champions League alongside the teams that finished in the top 4.

The only way we can qualify for the Champions League next season is by finishing in the top 4 or winning the Champions League this season. What happens with Wolves, United and City in the Europa League and Champions Leauge changes nothing from our point of view.

They were at the bottom of the table when he took over, and now they will most probably stay up...An unusual decision to say the least

Just looked at their fixtures, home to City followed by away at Arsenal. That may explain it following the loss to West Ham.

All our Hope's resting on Jose and Spurs...who would have thought. I reckon they win we finish top 4. They dont, we wont.

Its on us, if we really want top 4 we should beat Liverpool and Wolves.

It is in our hands for sure but those are two tough fixtures.
