RIP Matthew - Time has flown. 

For the younger supporters, in my opinion if it wasn't for Matthew Roman would not have given us a second look, the rest is history.  

and he was just a supporter like the rest of us,  just with a bit more money.   

The best and loudest supporters sit in his stand, i bet he would love that fact.

Happened to be stood next to him once outside some pub singing 'Who the Fxxk are Man Utd?'

I only noticed him as thought his coat looked a bit upmarket and then realised who it was.

Blimey, 23 years eh, that's scary how quickly its gone. A massive miss as a fan as much as an investor.

A couple of years later he was calling him “ an evil man”

I think Bates suspected Harding wanted him out and think he may have been right.

Imagine that, the club run by a Chelsea fan rather than a businessman.

Could have been outstanding or the road to ruin.
