Kounde will probably play more at RWB than Sterling.

To me it seems like you're viewing each and every black player we're linked with as "not the right type of player". Couple that with the predicted 11 you gave and it was exclusively white and they were "exactly the right type of player for us". 

Why exactly are these black players not the right type of player for us? 

 

If the idea is to bring him in so Reece James can play CB then f**k that.

Is this even a thing? PSG only signed him a year ago why would they sell him?

Check his post history mate. Every black player linked with us is “not the right type of player for us” with no explanation as to what that means. Happy to be wrong but definitely reeks of racist undertones. 

Why do we have this rumour? The player just moved to PSG last summer....

Don't get me wrong i wanted Hakimi too last season, and would still be delighted if we signed him as i think he is world class but we have more concerning positions to sort out like a decent attacker, 2 decent central defenders and a quality midfielder. 

I don't agree though about reece and chillwell back ups, i don't think we have that luxury to spend so much of our funds on wing backs, we are not city. I do think that sterling, emerson, possibly, loftus cheek and hudson odoi are more than good enough to help with the wing back positions.

Absolutely.

For someone who has supposedly "checked his post history mate", they'd see I wrote this regarding Kante.

If they do not cease with completely baseless allegations then it's defamation, and if they don't think posts made online won't be taken seriously after everything that's happened the last few years, they soon will.

Plus the below in what I determined as being the right and wrong type of player for the club:

If they suggest the same thing again it's a simple call to a solicitor.

Will save you the trouble! Don't need that sort of drama here, its the 'wrong type' of member for the messageboard.

Probably wont get him, but we need covers in the wingbacks. This season was effectively over when Chiwell was out , when James was missing we were a much poorer team.

We don't have to spent tens of millions but suitable options are needed. Emerson has already proven he just doesn't cut it at this level and Sterling offers absolutely nothing as an attacking player.

If we revert to a back 4 then maybe the latter would do as a backup in the short term but the former should be nowhere near this squad.

If we are sticking with a 3, I would still 100% take Hakimi. Can rotate both sides, and with 60 games a season, we need to have high quality wingbacks fresh and in form. 

He wouldve had loads of minutes last season. I dont really see the issue with gametime etc. City have 2 outstanding right backs, with one able to play on the left. James, Chilwell, Hakimi, is no different.

It's not a thing. People getting excited over nothing, particularly if one actually reads the report....

Its pure conjecture on the basis Reece James still hasn't signed a new deal. Reece James hasn't signed a new deal yet + Chelsea went for Hakimi last season = Chelsea want to buy Hakimi to replace Reece James. 

It really is difficult to back The Athletic at times with their non stories.
