I thought Phil Jones was plying his panic-faced trade in the lower Serbian leagues, didn’t realise he still played for United! Almost choked on my camomile tea when I saw his name in the starting line-up! For all the good it did haha

It's that contract they offered him in 2019. 4 years extension and 100k a week, they are basically stuck with him now because nobody else wants him, especially not on those wages 😆  What a bizarre move that was from United, he's only played 9 games since the 2018-19 season.

So apparently Barcelona are interested in signing Morata..........how does this keep happening? No matter how average he is, he ends up at a big club. If he just played one season of his career for a mid table team, no top team would go near him again. It's like the footballing world are so desperate for him to be the next Fernando Torres or David Villa. Well it just ain't going to happen, the guy is average.
