Market is bleak right now.

Mitrovic is arguably looking the best option money for value.

If there's no options we must take the short term hit and regroup.

It's imperative we don't make the same mistake we've made two summers in a row.

Not seen any mention as to how much Fulham would ask for Mitrovic.

A lot … min 85 mil because where they gonna buy another striker. everything is blowup right now in the market and many big team needing a real 9.even Recharlison will cost us 70. Broja need more experience, you can’t put all the pressures on him .

Kane and Osimhen won’t come( price and no European cup)

Absolutely not. He has a market value of under 30m euros.

Could ideally tempt Fulham with a 40-50m offer.

They can ask how much they want :Even is the player is value  @ 50mil. Osimhen worth 100 They want 150mil. Look what Brighton did to us with Cucurella.

Same as Bellingham at Dortmund they can ask what they want.

Cucurella had 4 years remaining with option to extend. Osimhen is probably the 2-3rd best ST on the planet. Both of which are fairly young and have resale value.

Mitrovic is in his prime and has 3 years remaining. 40-50m will realistically be the best offer Fulham will ever get for him.

I think we'll be looking at cheaper options that fit Pochettino's system. Lukaku is inconsistent as a ST

Yep. Mitrovic for 25m.

Could be Pochettino's next Kane

He was recently quoted at 22m, i read somewhere. We could definitely get a deal done especially if we sweetened it with one of ours, like CHO or even a loanee. I would liek Casadei to be with the first team next season, but one of the others could go in there on loan. Hutchinson, Hall, etc

A 29 year old to be the next Kane?, it would be a stop-gap and a uninspired one at that, as it would demonstrate how incapable our scouts are. Napoli’s chief scout has been poached by Juve, I say our incompetent lot should just keep an eye on who gets linked to them.

Surely Mitrovic/Broja is the best we can realistically do without spending loads on a ST that is destined to fail?

This team needs a few men in it rather than just a group of carbon copy kids with "potential". Nothing wrong with having a seasoned pro in the team that knows the league and knows where the goal is and can lead the line

After all what elite CL level Striker wants to play for a team not even in europe with 15 players needing to be shipped out. I don't think there is anything wrong in getting some honest pros used to the league.

Reports have indicated we are going to take our time and not rush the ST position, and I couldn't agree more. The market is bleak and our history isn't kind to us when we spend loads on a ST without doing our due diligence.

If we’re going for PL experience I’d rather take a chance on Toney and just have him unleashed in January. Mitrovic has a contract until 2026, Fulham can ask for whatever they want and if we’re talking £40-50m for a player of that level that’s where the buck stops.

Totally agree on that. I read somewhere that Mitrovic is in the 25m bracket. Toney would cost us 80m i reckon

If we signed Toney he'd double his salary by betting on us to lose.

He displays addict behavior and this type of addiction doesn't go away. He gambled on his own club to lose on several occasions.

There is far too much risk.

If we really want a top striker to lead the line we should go all in for Kane.  Pochettino knows him and he’s pretty much guaranteed to be a success. Scoring that many goals for a crap team is impressive.

If that fails then Mitrovic as plan b and look again next year. We should avoid spending big on foreign talent, it’s awful over the past 2 decades only Drogba and Costa were hits.

Zero chance Levy sell to us he would rather cut his nose off to spite his face.

Real want Lautario so that close that option for us.

If Benzema move to Saudi wage 100 mil/year. we can sell Lukaku for 20-30 mil market value to Inter. Everybody happy and buy you new top Striker. I bet we won’t find a decent striker under 70 mil
