The money is absurd, and I don't know how we can spend all of this money in 8 months and come away without issues, but for now, I can't help but laugh. Seeing a player reject Liverpool for us is very funny. That must really sting for Liverpool fans who I am sure were bantering us only a few hours ago.

Saw some reports that Potter wanted to sign Rice but the hierarchy overruled him and got Enzo, potentially could be that.

It's a moot point now anyway.

And even if we somehow fumble this and he goes to Liverpool they'd have a player they know wanted to go to Chelsea.

They need to either be moved in to youth recruitment roles, and working with our Blue Co clubs, or fired. We need a top class director of football. These guys doing this job is like playing Kepa up front. Wrong position.

Rice wasn't interested either, at no point did he actually give a sh*t he just waited for the big money and that's it, similarly how he changed the national team he did it all for his own convenience.
