Probably not a controversial opinion but I think Havertz is simply not good enough right now and we should look at moving him on as it wouldnt surprise me if there's suitors out there. He's had numerous seasons and managers to turn up and he hasen't.

The Havertz which was full of confidence from the Bundesliga is nowhere to be seen. There's a chance to get Joao Felix with an option to buy who could be the perfect replacement.

Don't think he goes anywhere unless he does a Werner and takes a pay cut. 

Apparently we have informed Atletico that we are willing to match their loan demands.

It doesn't surprise me considering the injuries we have. I hope we have a option to buy and not an obligation if this goes through.

Need this with a reasonable option to buy.

What I like about these loans is the player is under no pressure to make it. If it fails, no harm done. OR the player really takes it to heart to make it to get out of a rut. Kovacic and Zakaria loans look good. 

There is no baggage of a 75m transfer...

Anyway Joao Felix haven't shown anything so far in his career. He is young but the pressure he has had so far over the crazy world record move has probably affected him.

Here come the desperation signings just like summertime when we can't get the real deal. This guy has been underperforming in a poor Madrid side for a good while now, nobody biting for their asking price so he will now be coming to a team that's in complete disarray hows that's gonna work.

The only positive I can see out of this is that arsenal and united were both in for him. 3 scouting teams can't all be wrong can they?

I used to know who the players from all over the gaff were, now I’ve turned into my dad in not knowing anything about anyone. Can a young person explain who this is for us out of touch old f**kers please.

From what I've seen on Portugal he doesn't look amazing, but I'd take anyone with the way our attackers are performing.

It isn’t though; £10m loan fee + £250k/w wages for 4mths is wild & just typical Boehly. Still doesn’t understand what the plan is here; he functions either up top in a pair in a 4-4-2 or as one of a pair behind a front man in a 3-4-2-1, and we have never used either of the formation.

Realistically though the choice is sign nobody or pay over the odds and with the sh*te attackers we have now I'll take the latter all day long. There's no way we get somebody as talented as Felix in January on a permanent good deal, if he does well and he enjoys his time here I'm sure we'll go after him on a permanent deal. 
 

Aubameyang wasn't a panic, it took ages because that's who Tuchel wanted. The only 'panic' we did was Zakaria on deadline day who's turning out pretty decent business

Serious question though, what player would you bring in instead to improve our attack?

I think we have acted due to the amount of injuries we have.

If Pulisic and Sterling are out longer than first thought then it's a no brainer. He''s someone who's just as talented as all these 80+ million players we are linked with.

If he does well then we try make it perm in the summer.

Aboubakar is available on a free after he was released by Al Nassr to make room for Ronaldo. Can hold up the ball, run the flanks, finish and shoot from distance. Oh he is also free, and will be one a 1/3 of Felix’s wages.

We don't  need another no 10 struggling for form we need  proper creative midfielder and a no 9 who actually scores goals  most of our summer singings where not 1st  choice and in  my opinion Aubameyang was a panic buy even if Tuchel wanted him

It's a guy that was once a huge talent in Benfica, got a big transfer to Atletico Madrid and huge contract to play under Diego Simeone. He's another AM/Second-Striker type of a player, like Havertz or the rumored Nkunku that we have been after prior to his injury.

Last summer it was reported that Atletico Madrid rejected Man United's huge offer for him, now apparently he's ready to join us on loan for the remaining months of the season.
