Fair point. I feel whoever sanctioned the deal needs to be sacked. Fans keep forgetting we paid €10m for a 6mth loan deal which was ridiculous, and we picked up his wages. Was bang average, went to Barca who passed on him, and somehow someone still signed off on a €52m deal.

Not sure it’s right but sure I read that the loan fee was discounted off the eventual fee.

It’s all over the internet. €11m loan fee + £250k/w wages for 6mths

Does that mean we still own 50% of him? do we get him for the first 19 games of the season, then send him to Portugal for the rest? What is this nonsense.

If it means co-ownership, it's bilge. Co-ownership was banned many many years ago.

Third party ownership was banned in all jurisdictions from 2014 that’s a fact whereas co ownership is still allowed by some federations and one of those is Portugal.

I will look at the FA rules as whilst I am pretty sure that no English club can register a player that is co owned I am not so sure that the English clubs can’t have an economic interest in a player( co ownership)

In resume,

They want to buy Felix.

Maybe we just own his left leg, I mean I’m 50% penis. They could buy that.Seriously there ain’t enough blood for the 2 of us. I faint when he gets hard. It makes me a terrible lover… or as my friends say “ur such a cock”.

It’s a compliment right???

Yes, it's still legit in some jurisdictions. It was here in Italy until about 10 years ago.

Also hanging on the prayer that with Gibbs-White of to the spuds Nuno will have some money burning a hole in his pocket and his attention turns to his fellow mercurial countryman.

And before any bright sparks jump on me, Sao Tome and Principe is still Portuguese. tease

EXCL: João Félix is nearing a return to Benfica after a positive round of talks with Chelsea. 🔴

Expectation is a €30M fee, with a significant sell-on clause included — a key point Chelsea pushed for in negotiations.

Personal terms are already agreed between Félix and Benfica, with the player excited to return to his boyhood club.

almost “deal done and signed.”

I can only assume there was some PSR trick that made us sign Felix. There must be. The whole deal stinks. We’ll probably never find out but hopefully we will at some point

Goodbye Joao, thanks for that goal at Wolves…but please don’t come back

Haha 30m€ is about £26m. Great to get rid of him but I’m still to understand what was the purpose of buying Felix only to sell him for a loss a year later. Unless they wanted to get rid of Connor because of the profit they could make.

This is the dodgiest transfer in world football. forced out Connor and signed this absolute footballing disgrace, not once but twice... Ive never seen such a bang average footballer be so overrated. Everything thats wrong about our ownership can be seen in this transfer. Hope he never darkens the bridge again, absolute tosser, glad he's F-ing off. just need both Enzos to follow.

Part of the Gallagher deal. Gallagher profit was a motive but Maresca didn't want him anyway.

What I read was that this fee was for a 50% share of him. I'm not sure if that is even legal, but I suppose it would be the next step up from a loan with an option. They either pay the other 50% or we sell him and split any profit.

From the portuguese journal a bola, Benfica leaning, what they are discussing is 25m€ now for half the player and Chelsea wants a minimum of up to 40m€ (minus the 25m€ ) in 27/28. So, that would mean that we receive now the 25m€ and Benfica would pay another 25m€ in 2027, unless they sell Felix before, in which case Chelsea would get part of the sale. But, Benfica is not happy with that and are pushing to pay only the 25m€ and nothing afterwards. For anyone wanting to read the Portuguese version of the news:

He really needs this move. Team with Ronaldo. After failing at every European team since benfica he can earn top money and hopefully look like a star there.

You were spot on here! If this price is true, I think we can "report" a gain on Felix with this transfer due to a year amortized fees, no?

Fair play if we pretty much get our money back after the season he's had.

We repordly paid 45mill for him.we received a 5mill loan fee from milan. If we get 50mill euros (43mill punds) for him we made miney

That would be great, I'm all about the miney
