In his youth days Trev played there. Is not ideal, but if our other option is RLC...

or a back 3...........537 minutes clean sheet run with a back 3, the last 200 mins of that run without Reece James in the team. I'm all for a back four when Potter has all the players at his disposal.

Come on mate. You know as well as I Kepa was a huge reason for that.

That being said, you could tell we were riding our luck bar the Milan and Wolves game.

Luck or no luck we had a back three for the whole 537 minutes, you cant just put that down to good keeping and luck, 537 minutes is a long time on the pitch.

I am sure Potter will go with a back 3, though I don't think that will help us as Arsenal will play through us.

As to who plays RWB I don't know. We again will have to put a square peg in a round hole there.

Some pegs are oval and sort of fit.

Not feeling confident at all. Think we’re going to lose. It’s frustrating that Arteta has such a good record against us.

I would be playing Auba. As frustrating as he is, he will be well up for it and looking to embarrass Arteta.

My main worry (much like against United) the back 5 will have us over run in midfield and the attackers will be left isolated.

Arteta more than any manager knows how to break this system.

Yup that is how I see it going.

Least it isn’t a noon kickoff on a Saturday to ruin our entire weekend.

Expecting some more of the same from the usual underperformers who miraculously continue to get selected.

Don’t worry, the women are playing after to wash away all the awful feelings.

Definitely the underdog for this game, probably suits us right now as Potter could go back to the setup he used at Brighton. Give up the possession, defend deep and compact, and grind out an old fashioned win. The great concern is the lack of defenders and the quality of the GK, if we are sloppy the game could be over by HT.

better have a drink or three before the game to ease the pain of humiliation. no matter if the majority here still laughs at Arteta but at the end of the day he's having our number like no other manager. not only ours looks like nearly every other too this season.

One thing worries me a bit in this game.... Mendy! Its those clearances still! Shocking!

You can wing it against Zagreb, but with the current Arsenal side breathing down your neck, different story!

That the only thing that worries you about this game?

Never thought I'd type Kepa will be a big miss, along w Reece & Chilly. Cant see CFC getting a result with GP's constant tinkering and the rest of the injuries and Gooners EPL form. But in this league you never know, the players will have to step up and show some proper mettle which they haven't done for months.

Its a 4am KO over here so I for one will be sleeping in, and catching the match later. They've had the measure of us at SB last 2 seasons when they were crap, now they look like a proper team so its not encouraging. I'd take a draw tbh.

Definitely! Missing players isn't good but we normally up our game against in-form teams!

If you want an earner, Auba to score anytime!

I picked Auba for first scorer already. So that means he is screwed lol...

GK error, Jorginho give away setting them up, Koulibaly sent off, Sterling and Havertz miss sitters. What I expect.

who will provide them those sitters? can’t see stupid slips from their side

If Potter sets the team up right and Cucurella is as good as the 60m we paid then I expect a win. Arsenal are in good form but they are not City or a level above us. We've just massively underperformed and need to sort ourselves. Honestly if we just had a player like Havertz bringing at least a 7 out of 10 to the table, we would win alot more games. Unfortunately he's a 5 out of 10 player at best and you just cannot win with passengers, especially in attack.

Mason Mount of course 🙂

or Gallagher.

then they better bring their A game on Sunday. Mason was quiet last 2 games and Conor just missed a sitter.

problem is we look like f**king losers lately. we really play sh*t football and it’s been dragging from late last season

I'm still homeless because you said Pulisic would score "put ya house on it".

It paid off once I think! I betted on Koln earlier, never again!

Auba has a score to settle, even if Arsenal do a Brighton, I think Auba will still crawl one in!

Season 9 No GIF by The Office

This is shaping up quite nicely for us ... we're usually at our best when our backs are against the wall, and with 6 of our best XI currently on the treatment table, our backs are certainly against the wall !

Too many injuries, not playing well, Arsenal in great form. Anything can happen in this sport, but we really are up against it.

If this was days gone by I would say we would put up a back to wall display and nick a win, however from what I have seen in the last couple of seasons, unfortunately we don't have the players to do it.  A draw would be a decent result but my fear is that this could be a rout...I hope not but whoever GP choses to play best give their all.
