November 6, 20223 yr even Utd defeat 3:1 to Villa doesn't make me feel any better after seeing this spineless and disinterested lot of ours today. no matter the end score we were humiliated by the team that even haven't played their best football, in fact they didn't need to. the aditude said it all, theirs and ours. Newcastle 5, Chelsea 0. let that sink in

November 6, 20223 yr Honestly Auba starting was not the problem. I don't know why people are blaming him and sterling. They both played bad but Potters selections are the cause of this. The team is bad, we know that. We know what we are going to get. Start Broja over Auba and you'll get more runs but not much else. Mount and Havertz are attacking players? If they are then they both cannot start!!! You bench Kai who is worse and play Broja with Auba. That gives us a different option which we haven't used before in attack. If it doesn't work then at least we've tried to do something else. At the very least over load the midfield because we are always being overrun.
November 6, 20223 yr Positives from today. Utd lost West ham lost spurs losing and we got away with a 0-1 Lets face it they are a better team played some good football . just hope City win the league
November 6, 20223 yr I dont like post match interview Potter said sth like 'see the points the two teams have...' Seems the lose is normal for us. Objectively, it is. But as manager better not saying like that. That's why everyone in the squad played like dont want to win and so weak in spirit. Brighton gave him so long the time to build up the team in his steps. Chelsea won't.

A performance of passion, gritt and a willingness to attack. Things we sorley lack. 1 goal from open play in 4 league games? Out shot and outplayed by two top 4 contenders in our last two home games? As has been said for a while this squad is rotten and needs major reconstruction. Sadly Todd bought all the wrong pieces this summer. Agree mate. Can't believe spending all that money hasn't improved us. And I could forgive a lot if our players showed desire, effort, and gave everything. Their attitude is awful

November 6, 20223 yr Question did Potter do anything proactive once we went behind? Subs, tactical tweaks anything?
November 6, 20223 yr There are some positives. Everybody thought we were going to get thumped but the first half we showed grit and fought them well enough to deserve going into half time with a draw. Second half we collapsed after their goal, but they were getting the better of us overloading our left flank with Cucurella (who had a shocking second half). They are the better team at the moment and it showed, but we showed some fight and the players at least tried. I thought we were going to see another spineless performance but there was intensity in the tackles and defending.

I don’t know what game you were watching.. we were at home and couldn’t lat a glove on a team which has Xhaka Benwhite Zinchenko odegard.. really ? ?? How can that be excusable..
November 6, 20223 yr There are virtually no positives to take away from this game. Oh we didn't get spanked score wise. Did you actually watch the game? 😄
November 6, 20223 yr The facts are that if you look at Potter’s CV, he’s a total rookie with a couple of decent seasons behind him. I was concerned when he got the gig. I am very concerned now. He may well be completely out of his depth. In fact he most probably is. It was a high risk appointment and it’s not now playing out well.

We didn't leave our half the entire game and when we did it was a hoof ball to the ST, only for that ST to be isolated and lose the ball.

How can that be excusable.. Shed Lower, that’s the game I’ve watched. We have no god-given right to win games but, I ask the players to try. Unlike at Leeds or Southampton, today they went into the game not being spineless and tried. They are just not tha good. Or do you think that a midfield with Jorginho, RLC and Mount is better than theirs? We were the worse team in the second half and we lost. Did we play well? No. Am I making an excuse? No. All I’m saying is that we lost to a better team at the moment but the players did not capitulate from the start as it happened at Leeds or Southampton.

Azpilicueta - 6 - Can't do it in a back 4 but tried his hardest to do the things his body won't let him do anymore. Out numbered in defence because of a lack of help from Sterling. Experience got him through it. Chalobah - 7 - Solid again Silva - 7 - If it wasn't for him and Chalobah, Arsenal would have scored a few more. Cucurella - 2 - Terrible. Can't defend to save his life and you could actually see the fear on his face. I don't want a player that is visibly scared playing for the club. Jorginho - 3 - Eaten alive out there, as expected. Loftus-Cheek - 3 - Not good enough, nothing left to say really. How the f**k he starts in that midfield is mind blowing. Mount - 2 - Worst game I have ever seen from Mount. Sterling - 3 - A few nice passes into Havertz in the first half.......that's it. Unless it's a team that will dominate the game and supply the passes for him to get a tap in, he will look out of his depth. Havertz - 2 - Had enough of him. He never plays like he cares. He had two excellent chances to create something in the 1st half but wasted them both. Aubameyang - 1 - More money wasted. Subs: I don't care, they were all just as sh*t. Agree with every point here. I get that the players aren't good enough, I get thet we have injuries, I get that these are not Potters players, but Potter and his team have had plenty of time now to at least get this bunch fit enough to play football. If these players continue to refuse to run off the ball and to show passion and a desire to win, then we will never succeed in imprinting a pattern of play into the side. These continuing appalling performances could end up costing us any European football next year, that's how poor I think we are.
