Can't remember the last time I was this least excited for a Chelsea "opening game".

Playing a side like Bournemouth who lost few, if any players, during the WC is just a recipe for another poor display and defeat.

Not to mention the likes of Sterling and Mount are still in awful form.

Aubemyang has entered Fraud Watch.

Havertz, Mendy, and Koulibaly had mediocre WCs.

All signs just pointing to another inevitable lackluster performance. Right where we left off.

They were saving themselves for the league.

Oh jeez is less than 2 week away from this sh*t showing starting again...

Predicting Potters first resumed starting lineup in either 4-3-3:

Mendy

Dave

Silva

Koulibaly

Cucurella

Jorginho

Hall

Mount

Gallagher

Sterling

Havertz

Or 3-4-3:

Mendy

Dave

Silva

Koulibaly

Sterling

Jorginho

Hall

Cucurella

Mount

Aubameyang

Havertz

Just thrilled to be back in action, boys super excited about the challenge ahead,  tough game against  a good opponent that we respect.

1-1

Late saving equaliser.

I had a weird nightmare the other night that Roman had to sell the club and a Champs League winning Manager got sacked by a new American owner who is friends with James Corden! It got even better as he then employed a ball boy from Brighton & Hove Albion as a Manager! Yea crazy eh!

....Good job the Prem is starting back up!

Stay off the mushrooms @Mod ! I don't wish this kind of nightmares on my worst enemy, let alone you :greysweat:

The lads are training hard again, or so the club app keeps telling us. I'm worried about the attention Bettinelli has been getting the past few weeks...

I can see it now.

Havertz at LF. Mount at CAM. Sterling at RF. Aubameyang at ST.

Ruben partnering Jorginho.

All combining to produce 90 minutes of torrid football whilst failing to breakdown one of the worst teams in the league.

Don't worry folks, now Southgate is staying with England, Gerrard will be in to save our season soon!

But first, Christopher Vivell!

The man that is apparently very good at sniffing talents from and making a profit while the team he works for misses out on titles.

Nah it’s the other way. We go 1-0 up and then equalise in the 86th minute

Isn't James coming back for  this game? We will edge out a nervous 2:1, fail to beat them we may as well get comfortable in the second half of the table.

So far it seems him, Kepa, Kante and Fofana will NOT be able to play this game.

Got my checklist ready:

- sideways passes

- “the boys gave everything”

- Hutchinson on the bench but doesn’t play

- An injury.

Do we really have to return? Can’t we play another World Cup?

Bournemouth were in good form before the WC. We desperately need 3 points and kick start the season.
