Bruno Saltor "Bruno" - interim extraordinaire

He also said "The boys gave everything", so we know he's basically just Potter without the hair.

He's only worked with Potter if I see this correctly. So no drastic changes to be expected from him.

1 game is far too little to be in position to truly judge him, 1 days training NOBODY could have any affect in so short a time.

He may be Potter lite, but at least give him a chance to alter things, he may not, but 1 days notice for a game against Loonypool is frankly frightening in his position.

I thought the players were more up for it than at anytime under Potter, but that may just be because it's the dippers. But for the usual woeful finishing, we would have won last night.

Gallagher for Kante was sensible considering how vital he is, and is still building up his minutes. His substitutions at least looked purposeful.

His interviews may have been like Potter, but remember they were the FIRST he's ever given in the position of head coach, at 1 days notice.

We don't know what his instructions from the board were, he may not have any autonomy to make decisions that would make much of a change. For all we know he may have been told Havertz plays whatever.

It was interesting to see him instructing Reece, who was paying very close attention, so he obviously rates him.

Things might change under him, but 24 hours notice, even Mourhino in his prime couldn't influence under those conditions.

He might be the next superstar manager for all we know, but this is his first steps in management. Let him grow a little bit before writing him off completely.

He is not Fit For Purpose PERIOD.

If he's here this time next week, it will be one more baffling decision by our intrepid owners.

At least give him a small chance to prove himself one way or the other. 1 days notice to take over the team.

He may not have been as enamored with all Potters ways, but not in a position to argue. Now he maybe could do things he wanted to try. Yes he may be a clone of Potter, but 1 day to take over doesn't give him any chance to show any individuality.

Remember a certain translator got a chance, which was probably mocked at the time, and many on here would like to see him back for round 3.

I don't want to do any chest thumping, but Chelsea FC is probably not the sort of club to let an assistant coach try and prove themselves. The financial stakes are too high for that. Being in 11th position is bad enough, but we can sink even lower if we keep dropping points. If Bruno has the ambition to be head coach, let him cut his teeth in a lower league first.

I totally agree, but the attitude on here seems to be as he worked under Potter he should be gone. And if he cocks up he should be, but he hasn't yet.
