Personally I agree. I woul try Richards but realistically they need to get another anyway. This was more tongue in cheek but a third striker, which would now be a second striker atm could just as easily be a player coming towards the end of his career as one of these youngsters. If it wasn't for the fact that Villa don't seem to have any other options I would say go for Watkins. They have left it far too late but should have tried a Jackson for Watkins deal.

So Bayern had the chance to buy him outright at a reduced price and decided not to. I guess they weren’t really that keen.

Hope he knuckles down and is integrated back into the squad. It’s going to be a long season with plenty of competitive games and we’re likely going to need more than one striker anyway.

The reality is that in a market where strikers are more rare than rocking horse sh*t, no team in the known free world has the slightest interest in signing this crap player on a permanent deal. I guess that there are so many dimensions to this phenomenal strategy from this lot that mere mortals like us don't have the capacity to understand it . Hopefully Clown Lake can enlighten us on what part of the masterplan we are currently at within our supremacy trajectory.

I'm hoping this means Villa or Newcastle are coming in for Jackson on a permanent deal. They're both massively toothless, they don't need to know Jackson will not help that in the slightest.

Don’t worry. There is no way we have recalled Guiu and also letting Jackson come back, we might as well just let his loan go through. There must be a permanent transfer on the cards here and my bet is a Villa swap sort of deal for Rodger’s. They will be in a panic after their 3-0 result today and Emery knows Jackson.

It’s going to be an interesting tomorrow, not just for us, Isak, Wissa……

0% chance; we have been warned specifically about doing any dodgy swaps with Villa. And has anybody actually watched Rogers this season? He has been awful. Wouldn’t pay £50m for him presently.

Seems Jackson to Bayern was put on hold, we then made a deal to recall Guiu, but now Bayern have got sick of the drama and pulled the plug on Jackson! So we now have Guiu and Jackson back with less then 24 hours left.

Maybe that was what we wanted, and Pedro will play more as a 10, although Palmer back soon, plus we got the Brighton lad on loan (if that goes ahead).

Crazy end to the window this. One thing is certain, Guiu can only go back to Sunderland or stay at Chelsea now, as he can't represent a 3rd club in a calender year.

Maybe Jackson is being sold elsewhere, but according to Matt Law, he is flying to Senegal now for international duty. Seems like a complete mess.
