I nearly moved it to the Area 51 Archive, so it no longer appears in any public forum! I think maybe it's an idea to start a new Jacko To Bayern and completely can this one, it's f**king embarrassing!

Can Mod and I get a loan fee for you?

Well Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Aston Villa are also interested in me as well Loz, so don't rush in to anything.

But you can tell Tottenham to f**k off.

Unfortunately, I'm still in denial, but I tend to agree. Something about the deal and the figures mentioned felt "too good to be true", but maybe he'll do well in a weaker league and earn a proper transfer to, if not Bayern, another Bundesliga club (or anybody, really). I do think he could do a job at that level.

It's probably worth saying that "obligations" to buy are not enforceable at all.

A transfer fee is an agreement to pay compensation so that the selling club doesn't sue the buying club or the player for breach of contract. You can't 'oblige' someone to pay you compensation so that you don't seek compensation from them

We have @nonotnowjim as enforcer.

Delap getting injured leaves us in the same position we were in last season, i.e. with one recognised centre-forward (who arguably would be better positioned elsewhere).

Jackson, Pedro, Delap (in descending order of quality, with George, etc. to cover in an emergency) is a CL-worthy squad's worth of forwards.

Look forward to Bayern signing him for peanuts. Good work all.

Sounds good in theory but would never work. There is no CL carrying 3 CFs anymore, even 2 quality ones presently is a struggle. Bayern only have Kane & Jackson on loan, Madrid have Mbappe & their youth forward Garcia, City have Halaand & Mammoush, Barcelona have an ageing Lewandowski & Ferran Torres. Liverpool are an anomaly with expensive CFs Isak & Ekitike, but I can guarantee in 2yrs time one of them will be looking for a move elsewhere. That is the timeline for when a quality CF gets tired of playing backup.

This is true if you have a Kane, because you cannot have a rotational st. The other guy will either play backup or next to kane.

But none of Jp, jackson, and Delap is a nailed down st material. Heck Jp is not even a st. Having all 3 of them is actually a very good idea

Hi mate. Am.i missing something? If Bayern's obligation to buy is extremely difficult to be triggered , that means that unless they actually want him to stay , he's coming back ? I haven't even had a beer ...yet !

EDIT ..oh, I've just got it mate , he's not coming back regardless . Phew !

Lovely stuff….

Really like his agent

f**king hell Jim , why didn't Jacko say this BEFORE we bought him !!

"At his unveiling at Bayern, Jackson said: "It was tough - a tough time. Difficult moments in those last days. But I was very confident I will stay here because this is where I want to play and want to be.

"Max [Eberl, Bayern sporting director] and the coach really wanted me. It was very tough but in the end we got it, so I'm very glad.

"I've watched Bayern all my life. It was a dream to join this massive club. When they called me I was excited and ready to come and play for them."

Interesting he scored the odd headed goal for us though don't recall one that good though maybe he got lucky

Is Harry Kane injured?

Kane is fit. He came off the bench. Kompany has the PSG game in mind in the week, which is a big, big game. Kane, Diaz and Olise were all on the bench. The gulf in quality in the league is that much, Kompany took a risk but paid off.
