Clear and obvious has never applied to offside. I don't know why though, because I don't know a single fan of the sport that was asking for VAR to get involved with goals that may be a cm offside. All we ever wanted was to see the big errors sorted out.

It’s just another way to make what used to be a fun, enjoyable thing slow and boring. Chelsea don’t need help being slow and boring.

I'm all for these clubs speaking out about the refs, not so much the way Liverpool did it. They were right to be pissed at the situation, but they only put that statement out because it was a big one against themselves. Whenever they benefit, they completely ignore it, side with the refs and the fans rip the piss out of the team that have been cheated out of a result.

The situation with Forest is different because they brought up their concerns before the game, and who's to say they were wrong? The ref in charge of VAR is a Luton fan.

Another thing I think needs looking into is Michael Oliver and a few other refs getting paid in the UAE pro league. With such a big link to Sheikh Mansour, and one of the league sponsors having City's CEO on the board, they shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near that league. There is a huge conflict of interest there, and with the decisions Oliver has given to City this season, it's going to raise more than a few eyebrows. Dickheads like Neville and Carragher on Sky can say it's a disgrace to accuse these refs all they like, but these refs keep putting themselves into situations where that will get people talking.

The PGMOL is a joke of an organisation under massive protection by the FA, Premier League and media outlets.

The way VAR is operating in England does bring the game into disrepute. I think it'd be great if fans of every club started to protest against it. Maybe that's something the FSA could lead on.

It's never as bad at world cup finals or in uefa tournaments so it could be much better in England, maybe we need foreign refs instead of the bunch of duffers at PGMOL

Maguire gets a penalty for doing what he does to every other player........hate these refs.

The rest of the night seemingly going in our favour...not that it will mean a lot to our crew to fight on the weekend.

And the great Klopp walks away with a League Cup under his belt...what is it 8-9 years and one league title....mmm wouldn't exactly call that a stellar career and a genius manager, although he was in the era of one of the greatest managers to grace this league and money bags City I suppose...still would have expected more.

Don’t even care if Liverpool lose this lot have sucked all the fun out of our rivals losing since yesterday.

I'm just waiting for the excuses to be poured out by the media that their darlings fell at the last hurdle......injuries, it was injuries, yes they have been decimated this season with 3-4 injuries...Why Chelsea are so poor...well they spent a billion, no real injury crisis, one or two out each week...but Liverpool, Newcastle were devastated with the injuries they had..........................bollocks.   Well lets see how we get on next year.

That’s quite the tragedy for Pool, best manager in a generation and he ends up being in the same era as Pep. Despite the misery we’re going through, the only silver lining is if we ever find ourselves with a team/manager again, Pep must surely be gone by then. With any luck. 🤞

I agree he came in the wrong era.....but they can keep being tragic as far as I'm concerned.

With United winning hopefully the talk about us making top 6 will stop. Was never going to happen.

Well Palace and Bournemouth did us a favour I suppose, even if the chances of making 6 or 7 are extremely slim.

Our next two games are Villa and Spurs. Usually a safe from the drop mid table side gets beaten by sides chasing titles and European spots.

If we are honest here without Manchester City questionable dealings Liverpool would have won a few more titles. That’s impressive compared to the state back club who have lawyers up on lawyers stopping any investigation into them.

That argument only holds so much strength. Like saying if it wasn't for SAF and their blatant bribing of officials our legendary core would be 7 time Premier League champions.

Yeah and maybe that’s correct alleged corruption is alleged corruption if it stops honest competition
