Still having a bit of schadenfreude over football results last night - might be a very mixed season for us, but seeing City and Arsenal go out of the CL like that, with all their expectations? Still puts a smirk on the face.

Petrovic £14m, Sanchez £25m........in all honesty, I would rather we threw that £40m at Villa plus a bit more to get him if we had to. Even if it meant keeping Kepa as backup.

So that's it for English clubs in the Europa League for another season ... 

A few soundbites ; 

In the 21 years since Roman bought Chelsea, 26 English clubs have had a collective 76 tries at winning the Europa League. Only two have managed it. Manchester United have won once (in 2016/17), and we of course have won it twice  :-) 

It might not be Old Big Ears, but it is nevertheless proving a harder trophy for English clubs to win !
