Nkunku missing is a big loss , but I actually can’t see us losing this. I expect the players and crowd to be in it from the start , have a feeling Liverpool are in terminal decline and Chelsea win this 2-1

Still can't see us losing this?

I hope Broja is fit enough to make the bench on Sunday.

With Nkunku out I worry we'll become pretty toothless should Jackson have to come off at any point, and I don't necessarily think that Burstow is prem ready.

Burstow may have to grow up VERY quickly indeed 🙄

Had he not so spectacularly burnt so many bridges, I'd have said there's an opportunity for Lukaku to earn a spot again.

Still, fingers crossed Jackson can comfortably play 90 and Broja is closer to full fitness than his absence from the tour might have us think.

Anthony “f**king” Taylor lads and ladettes, if Brighton wasn’t enough to screw us in August up pop AT to give us another hard one!!!

I have to think this is deliberate now.

Liverpool think Taylor has it in for them too. And Utd reckon the same

I think he sent Klopp off last season ?.

Anyway, I dread him reffing us, especially at the Bridge, I just don't think he's up to it.

Chanting " Taylor you're a c**t" isn't going make him.inclined to do us any favours either. Maybe all the online stuff will see a change of ref before Sunday hopefully. You know the press will be eager to have a go at us after all the condemnation of the abuse he got from Jose and Roma fans if we give him.pelters too !

Unfortunately no. That c**t has been nominated by the PL sh*thouse. I guess that they need to start paving the way for their beloved club from the start.

The team will be the team that played against Dortmund, save Mudryck for Nkunku or at least that's my prediction and also what I would pick. I expect Disasi to make the bench

I think there is a decent chance that will be the lineup too. Pochettino definitely seemed to start the Dortmund game with what he saw as his strongest lineup based on preseason performances.

KEPA

JAMES   SILVA   COLWILL   CHILWELL

ENZO   SANTOS

STERLING   GALLAGHER   MAATSEN

JACKSON

Based on pre-season I imagine Pochettino will start something similar to this. Possibly with Gallagher deeper next to Enzo and Chukwuemeka in the '10'. Personally i think Andrey has done enough in pre-season to start this one.

Sterling hasn't done enough to start this one....or any others

Who starts ahead of him? If Sterling doesn't start there isn't a single attacker or midfielder over 23 years of age, and most still teenagers.

People may not like it but he's most likely going to be starting on Sunday and so he should.

Maatsen has showed to have a great understanding with Jackson whereas Sterling has showed to only have an understanding with losing the ball.

Sterling will likely start but as I mentioned time isn't on his side. He will soon be displaced if this horrid form continues. Which I expect it will.

Maatsen can play in pretty much any position except CB, i don't think its one or the other when it comes to him and Sterling.

I think Gallagher definitely starts either in the pivot or as the 10. Possible alterations are Carney for Santos (Gallagher then drops back), and Mudryk for one of Maatsen/Sterling.

I tend to agree that Sterling will start though.
