Without the international break, we should beat them quite comfortably based on form and injury tolls on both sides. But, international break does crazy things, so not so sure about this one. Newcastle will be contend to play the low block and counter, could be a similar game to the WestHam or Forest.

Mudryck had a couple of opportunities against Italy, particularly late in the game. As usual he gave the ball away once or maybe twice but was also involved in most if not all of Ukraine's best attacking moves.

Can't see Mudryk breaking into starting 11 as no-one deserves to be dropped on current form. Best he can hope for is impact sub and with his pace, running at tired legs from the 60 minute mark is a handy option to have.

Yeah but when there is reason to rotate it provides an opportunity and maybe Poch will rest Enzo and so someone else starts. If  it’s big Les with Caicedo further forward that’s one way, if it’s Palmer at 10 Sterling on the right and muddy on the left that’s another.

Always a tough game up at Newcastle. While they have some players unavailable through injury we also have to assess the fitness of the likes of Caicedo/Enzo once they return from international duty later in the week. One thing in our favour is that Newcastle have an important game at PSG a few days later. While they have some key players potentially available for a return, they will likely want to use them sparingly so that they have them for the PSG game.

Being that Newcastle are at home I doubt they will opt for a defensive approach so hopefully we won't have to deal with a low block. Hopefully we can have some joy against their weakened defense. Depending on how the game goes perhaps we will see a debut for Nkunku or Lavia from the bench?

Still thinking Enzo needs a break and maybe Caicedo as well. It's like farming you leave the field fallow for a while. We need the lads to perform at a high level for five years or more and occasional bits of rotation will assist with that. We have a big squad, let's use it.

Seen thar Lavia is impressing in training, some rumours say he will come in for Enzo for this game to give Enzo a rest, especially needed after the chaos in the Brazil Argie game.

So far Poch and his team haven't rushed anyone back in so if Lavia is ready than I believe he is ready.

True. So bench at best, I expect.

I can see Les Ugochukwu getting a start, with Enzo perhaps getting a rest on the bench. Lavia and Nkunku on the bench too hopefully. We have plenty of fixtures in the month ahead and will need to use the squad sensibly.

Too big of a game. I like his role atm which is coming off the bench to protect a lead. 

Will surely get more game time after this difficult run of fixtures.

All I’ve seen is Lavia running on grass with Nkunku. Surely he’s way off starting?

For some reason I had a feeling that this break was shorter than ever.

Glad our football is back, now it's time to continue our game. 

We probably are going to have Nkunku back in the squad, Lavia was training also, so it's a great boost to our team! With Ezno and Caicedo and their flight thing, I wouldn't really rush them honestly, not sure how their condition after this. Always when they came back and started, they didn't look that good. I would start one of them.

I'd go with this lineup:

---------- Sanchez -----------

James - Disasi - Thiago - Cucurella

------- Ugo ---- Enzo ------

Palmer ---- Gallagher --- Sterling

---------- Jackson ------------

 

I can't remove our performance against City from my head, I just hope this will continue.

I think what he said is kinda obvious. 

Anyone know when Caicedo and Enzo returned to the country and how many training sessions they will get before this game?

Gotta monitor them carefully for fatigue overload.
