After ruining Christmas Eve, at least my boxing day food coma wasn't interupted by the mess that will likely unfold later.

Not even sure the 3 wise men could figure out what teams going to make it out there, I just hope that Nkunku only starts if he actually is ready, rather than due to lack of options. Can't be risking the rest of the year due to suspensions and injuries.

Wouldn't want to ruin a good chance of finishing 10th!

But yes, Nkunku should be wrapped in cotton wool if he isn't fully fit.

Was thinking more of the relegation scrap!

Palace fans quietly optimistic which who could blame them.

If I bring a pub team to play this lot would you be confident that Chelsea would beat them?

Lucky if we scrape a draw today.

This whole project is an embarrassment the way it's shaking out.  It should never have been allowed to get to this level.  The amount of injuries have killed this season off before it started.  80% of the first team is on the treatment table or in hospital.  While I blame some of the results on the manager, those players that have been selected so far have been a shambles, especially the forward line and I don't see much changing today.  Some of the play this season has been decent despite being the wrong end of a result or collapsing like a snoty heap, so it can't all be down to the manager. One step forward 2-3 backwards in performance.  While we are not likely to be relegated, we are close to the edge now and that's the problem of being inconsistent and in the position of mid-to lower table you can get dragged in suddenly without realizing it.    Palace ain't a push over like they used to be ...and God help us against Luton because they are getting their confidence back.

Box to box. One of the smarter signings we've made.

Hmm, would be nice to see him but that leaves him with Gallagher or Caicedo or both and all 3 are box to box then.

I really wanted Poch to be a success at Chelsea and maybe in time he will but I cannot see a single player who has improved his game since August, our discipline is becoming poor and I can't see any real pattern to our play (apart from missing virtually every chance that arises) - expectations for tonight suitably low...

Please give Madueke a start. He really need a run of games and now is the perfect time to start assuming he’s fit enough.

It's funny how Madueke and Maatsen are either not ready, not good enough yet Poch always throws them on when we need a goal.

In the past when managers have done that it has been said this is them saying to the board "this is what I am left with to try and win games, it is not enough".

Might be why Poch does it.

How can Jackson get another start after last game? Despite Madueke making an immediate impact?

What impact?

There are no alternatives to Jackson and Jackson linked up well with Nkunku in pre season.

What is Poch’s problem with Madueke? He isn’t helping his wingers if he decides to play Murdyk on his weaker right, and plays a defender further upfield instead of a winger.

Any chances that's a 3-4-3?

Disasi Badiashile Colwill

Gusto Gallagher caicedo maatsen

Jackson Nkunku Mudryk

I feel it is a 3-4-3 aswell, with everyone available i dont see the problem
