The problem is no goal scorers outside of the front 3   If gusto and maatsen scored 10 goals a season between them or Gallagher or Caicedo scored a few that kind of lineup could work. Maybe it will anyway. Here’s hoping

Sterling is suspended for accumulating 5 yellow cards.

Madueke definitely has no future here, if he can't get a game with 11 players out, he's f**ked.

I would've liked to have seen him start, I felt like he's shown more than Maatsen has who pretty much wants to leave anyway, weird choice.

That was my initial reaction as well.

Madueke is the only fit right winger and on face value Poch would rather play our LW at RW and backfill him with a full back (I'm assuming this is still a 4-2-3-1)

Yes. Maatsen has shown nothing in the (limited) opportunities he’s been given. Madueke at least played well coming on against wolves. 

This line up has 19 career Chelsea goals, and Jackson has 8 of those (in case anyone is wondering why he's playing again!)

Very true.

But there's no alternative to Jackson given our other striker has 2 goals in his last 50 games and the only one of those that has come in the last year was when a Fulham defender booted it into his shins.

Hoping Jackson and Nkunku can establish a good connection is the only real option we've got until January.

And at the end of last season when Lamps gave him a few games. Easily our best player over that period.

I thought he had a good first half in the first game he started in (forgot who it was against) but he almost scored a banger that hit the post, had that gone in it could've very much changed things for him here. But it is what it is.

LWB would be good as it means Colwill on the left of CB where he would likely be better. 

Palace with no win in their last seven games and defeat in their last seven visits to the Bridge. That kind of worries me, but I’m going for a 2-1 win tonight. Even we win occasionally!

Shame. 

Possibly a 5-2-3 (or 5-2-2-1) but even if that was the case, Poch could have played Madueke on the right and Nkunku in the center. Clearly he doesn't rate him.

You just never know - Poch has a terrible player of playing players out of their strongest position.
