At the very least it should make up the board's mind that he isn't the right man to take us into next season. They're missing Allison, Trent, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Salah and Jota who are mostly guaranteed starters and if he can't find a way to beat this depleted Liverpool team in a cup final then I don't hold out much hope for our progression under him. This is also without starting our most talented player, Nkunku, in favour of Sterling who has underperformed for 90% of the season.

Did you expect anything else?     if we win, no credit will be given, it will be all about Liverpool's injuries and how we beat a weakened side, just like the last game against City we got no credit for putting in a stellar performance...City just weren't at it was the headline.
