Before any football match kicks off both sides are always in with a chance. As for mismatches like Klopp's signing on 11 all stars vs Poch's still wet behind the ears kids, football from time to time throws us a surprise result.  The last time I recall this happening in EFL cup was Birmingham City beating the gooners, but then went on to get relegated. Similar to Wigan doing City in the FA cup final.

So there's always a chance. On Sunday after the season with Chelsea we have experienced to date and especially that performance last Sat, yes one could say we're in with a chance. But also one could say were gonna get beaten easily. I know silva has big game experience but cant help think its better he doesn't start, he's not pacey enough anymore especially vs this lot. That leaves I think only Enzo, Sterling & Trev as the other players fit that have played in any finals at all, Trev is not match fit to start. anyway I prefer the back 4 from last week. In reality our squad has almost zero nous at winning cup finals whereas the Dippers ranks have quite a few with winners medals on their mantelpieces.

I wont be upset if Poch bottles another EFL Cup final and Klopp gets another Pot as a farewell gift. Our silver lining is that he wont be back next season or the next or not ever hopefully; unless he's a visiting manager in a Euro comp, which at the moment is a far away prospect for our Chelsea.  And of course if an upset does occur by any means necessary its happy days all day Sunday over here.

something similar happened to me with Jose's first League Cup win in 2005 - mother and brother-in-law visiting to watch the game at our place, both Liverpool fans. We were behind by the second minute but as you'll know smashed them in extra time. Simply Joyous!!!

It often seems like you need the disappointment of losing a final to forge a team that can win the next one. That said this team is a lot less wet behind the ears than it was.

I dislike the trend where every club or manager that loses a game has bottled something.

If we lose it likely won't be because Poch bottled it or we froze we're simply playing against a better team.

Going to take something special tactically from Poch or a huge slice of luck for us to win the trophy because individually they're levels above us.

Mauricio Pochettino has urged referee Chris Kavanagh and his officials not to get carried away with the emotion of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s long goodbye and to be “fair” with his Chelsea team.

Chelsea face Liverpool in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final, which could represent Klopp’s last Wembley appearance as manager before he leaves the club at the end of the season.

Asked if there is extra pressure on Klopp and Liverpool to deliver a trophy before he leaves, Chelsea head coach Pochettino replied: “Good question. It is not pressure for him. No. Maybe it is for the people who want to celebrate with Liverpool.

“I think we need to be sure we are going to compete and be fair in every single decision. When we played against Liverpool at Anfield, I think too many decisions … not one key decision was for us. Lol fair dos to him calling it out, but whether Liverpool need it or not the ref will be in their favour just like at anfield as there is huge pressure from the top of the game, and media, for Klopp to have the best goodbye.

May even see calls go against City to desire from up top is that strong.

This. If the same thing happen in wembley then we can throwaway every tactic, strategy, it won't matter. 

Unless you destroy pool which is almost impossible, you have no chance. 

If we’re going to win tomorrow, then we’ve got to do something that we’ve not really done all season:

1. Put in a 90 minute performance

2. Be ultra clinical and kill the game

We haven’t managed to do that all season.

The team is doing badly because so many of you fans are evil. I thought fans of a club will support the club, but I've seen that these fans don't like this team. 

I joined the fans' forum because you would think the other fans of the team will like the team, but clearly these fans hate this team.

I feel so sorry for this team because of the kind of fans they have. They can't do well because of the kind of fans they have. Some people don't have any form of positivity in them, it's all negativity.

It's already affecting the team. There is no oneness in the team. Look at City, Liverpool etc. Their teams are happy. But there is anger inside the Chelsea team. The fans attack all their players. 

They attack Cucurella, they are even so mean to attack a player like Reece James, you would think they like him when they made him their captain, they attack Chilwell, they attack their goalkeeper, they attack their defense, they attack the midfielders, they attack the wingers. 

That means they don't want the team to exist again. If there are no players, there is no team. So why are you still calling yourselves fans of the club? You can as well go to your homes, there is nothing like Chelsea again.

Watching some soccer Saturday, discussing the cup final and their total love of Liverpool is driving me nuts. We’ve got to win this.

Would be fantastic if we can.

This is like it used to be for us when we went in to finals with Jose, or Carlo. We had the team who had the manager as an experienced winner, and who soon built a core of experienced winners. We often beat sides who did not have this.

Now they have the experienced winner manager and players. We have neither, it is a huge advantage.

They’ll still make the bench at the very least I reckon.

This will be tough.  The media will be all about Klopps farewell tour, and it is very difficult for referees not to seize their moment in the spotlight.  Chelsea players need to be at their best and show commitment levels we have all enjoyed in recent games.

Saying all that, I can't take another video of Klopp and his stupid fist pumps should they win the game.
