Regardless of the energy of the players from yesterday, rotating to a weaker side, on the face of it, and then losing to Leeds may well be viewed in a very dim light.

 

Leeds have won 11 out of the last 12 games. Hold on to your hats.

To be fair the same side as Sunday could lose to Leeds as well.

The one player I want to, for sure, see starting this is Alfie Gilchrist. We need that fight, and that passion for the club.

Start Nkunku and Mudryk ..... and let them have the full game! Both seem to be confidence players so need game time instead of cameos to try and win us a cup, after either hardly playing much!

Give Sanchez a game and also rest some of Caicedo/Enzo/Gallagher/Palmer!

Start Silva if he is fit again!

Would like to rest Chilwell and gusto because they are injury prone. So that would mean two  of gilchrist/silva and chalobah play. 
 

‘’it is a game for mudryck and nkunku and madueke. I would play nkunku in gallagher’s role. Let’s see what a proper 10 can do.

Yes

Tough choice this week with so many players playing 120 minutes only a few days before. 

You have to assume Gusto, Chilwell, Gallagher will all need a rest.

Expect to see Mudryk and Madueke getting some serious minutes too.

Leeds aren't good enough to score? They maybe currently a Championship side but they are on fire at the moment. Expect Bamford and Ampadu to both play blinders and I am not confident at all.

Rotation? Rest?   After all their "effort" on Sunday?  These poor little "fatigued" players.

Personally I would play them all again until they could find some depth within themselves that might contain some "pride".

Assuming Nkunku is out I cannot see much rotation on Wednesday. I don't think we will have any more players available who did not feature on Sunday (except maybe Thiago).

Sounds like Thiago is still in reconditioning phase too. So realistically the only players we have available who didn't start on Sunday (based on players that have first team experience) are Sanchez, Chalobah, Gilchrist, Mudryk, Madueke. I suspect we will have a few academy players on the bench.

Pretty much sums up how bare the cupboard is ... injuries are killing us ... 

Be nice to see a start for Gilchrist. We pretty much know what we would get from the rest ... namely a demonstrable reason why the manager doesn't usually start them LOL. But I'd like to see what Alfie can do, and I fancy we might see an academy player (not Colwill) at left back as well for this one. Perhaps Williams or Samuels-Smith. Or maybe Gusto at LB and Gilchrist at RB.

Leeds have been scoring a fair few goals on their recent run. But equally they concede quite a few. I can see this being a higher scoring game. Cue a 0-0 with penalties 😉

Can we just get knocked out? I can't stomach another final.
